A Christian publishing company was able to assist a family who will be featured on tonight's episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Tonight's popular ABC show will feature the Akers family of West Chester, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. The family was selected to receive a new home, in part because the family's two daughters, Brooke and Faith, suffer from spinal muscular atrophy. Also, their dad, Greg, and brother, Christian, have Crohn's disease.

'Glory goes to God,' says family on 'Extreme Makeover' (OneNewsNow.com) (http://www.onenewsnow.com/Church/Default.aspx?id=274690 - broken link)

It's always nice to see people thanking God for their blessings, rather than just taking them for granted, or saying they got lucky. This family obviously realizes that God is watching over them and has blessed them with this experience.

This is the most Christian show on television, not in the aspect of preaching the gospel, but in a picture of what Jesus came to do for us. He came and took our worn out useless lives and replaced them with a new life, brand spanking shiny new and not at our cost, all his gift!

The spirit of giving in everyone involved is just beautiful. I watch it with my kids and cry like a baby everytime.

Default looking for Job McCauley from Extreme Makeover TV show

I'd like to know where to send a "Patch the Pirate" CD for Job.

I saw the show on Sun., 10/26 & learned he loves pirates.

I went to BJU with the creator of "Patch the Pirate" who lost his sight to cancer, but turned it into a children's ministry by becoming Patch the Pirate.

His company, Majesty Music, in Greenville, SC offers many wonderful Patch the Pirate products.

I'd like to have 1 sent to Job if I can get an address.

Sincerely,
Judy in Michigan
