Marriage between cousins is nowhere forbidden in the Bible. Even though it was later forbidden in the Old Testament we now a new covenant.
It results in birth defects and deformities, some physical-some not, in most cases. I think this is because man has grown so far from perfection...impurities in the gene pool and all that. That's just my thought.
