Samson also committed suicide, as did Saul.

The biggest crock ever told to the world was that we have "free will". If we have 'free will' then there should be no punishment of any kind for anything we do.
We are free to do as we wish. Or so you think. That's just God's tricky way of dealing with us. You are damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I believe people go to hell. They were given LIFE and given the option to live a clean, virtuous life but still chose DEATH.

I thought it was God who created us marred (Jer 18) and subject to vanity, not by our own will but by His (Rom 8:20).

The Plan was and is to make us in His own image; if we've learned anything, it that He uses darkness, evil and death to destroy him who has the power of death - the wicked one... and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Heb 2:14-15)

I can see "doing yourself in" if you're old, sick, broke, alone, in
constant physical pain or have a serious chronic illness.
Why stick around for that??
I wouldn't fault anyone for same and if God has even a shred of mercy I don't
think he would either.
What irks me are these young kids taking themselves out so early.
They have their whole life in front of them and they end it right in their prime.
It just doesn't make any sense.
