Assuming a Christian perspective, a positive case can be made that male-female relationships similar to marital bonds can continue between the redeemed into the next life. This may then also imply a physical or sexual aspect in such a relationship.

Here are some websites that make this positive case (across Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Protestant strands of Christianity) - please copy and paste the links in between the and (broken link) tags ...

Whether you find these arguments convincing is ultimately up to you.

PS. please note according to historic Christian doctrine, the
next life involves the resurrection, which is physical in nature, and is not to be identified with "heaven" (where the redeemed go after death to await future physical resurrection of their bodies) - please see this link for more explanation -

Search the scriptures for your answer. Afterall, you'd want the RIGHT answer.

We can give you our opinions but I'd be cautious. These forums are a place to exchange ideas and I search them often to get some good thoughts, but don't take anything like it's set in stone.

I am still unmarried at 38 years old. I stopped dating when I was 29 and the Lord has not revealed anyone that's even datable. I'm not a hermit, but close to it. I go out and about but no one has ever asked me out. And at church everyone seems to already be married. So I just don't meet single men.

But, I do hold hope that after I am resurrected, I hope I will meet someone and get married.
