The liberals may soon be rewarded for their constant pursuit of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Born again Jerry
I never heard of them myself until God started to show me a few things many years ago. One of the main prophecies are found in Jermiah chapters 50 and 51. These chapters tie into Revelation 18. All three chapters speak of Babylon. Revelation 18 speaks about a future Babylon, yet few understand who it is because it requires the prophecies from Jermiah 50 and 51 to understand it. Many think Jermiah 50 and 51 are speaking about ancient Babylon. You have to look at the description in those chapters to understand that the description given does not match ancient Babylon. Once you see that, you will find that some of the wording matches the wording in Revelation 18. Once you put the prophecies together, you will start to see the whole story line. These prophecies are really revealing, and they are really speaking about future America. I say that, because the details in the prophecies can only fit America. I have to tell you, I found the story line pretty frightening. Most ministers are not aware of these prophecies. If you type in America and Babylon in a search engine, you should find a lot of information on the web. When I discovered these prophecies long ago, there was little information that could be found here. Yet, it appears God has been showing other Christians these prophecies as well.

Jesus tells us that the generation that sees the Jewish people return to the land of Israel will not pass away until all end prophecies will be fulfilled. The Jewish people made Israel a nation in 1948. This event marked the beginning of the end of time. Our lifetime is different, because God's stop watch began ticking when the Jews proclaimed Israel their nation once again, and after 2,000 years. According to the Scriptures, there will still be people alive on earth who were born in 1948 when Jesus returns.

I have found counterpoints to it relative to tense - as well as intent but I need to study if furthre - Some statements related to the interpretation and relative usage of the words differ than those you posted - some indicate the formation of the fetus into a recognizable human form was relevant. Some statement about old Talmudic reference to the first 40 days the fetus is "water", not human.

I will promise a prayerful personal study of this topic; fortunately not one that I or anyone in my immediate family has had to deal with. My own daughter became pregnant outside of marriage, but they chose to marry and are now in their 7th year with two delightful children. But I still think it to be a complex [not black and white issue]

The fact that abortion was common in bilbilical times and not directly addressed in a more forceful direct manner though leaves this, in my mind, somewhat of a gray area.
If you recall, there were a number of things the Jews did that were common in Biblical times, and yet many such things were not supported by God. They are a stiff necked people as Scripture points out. Thank you for your consideration, I could not of asked for anymore.
