A group of women are looking for a Christian Bible study and would like suggestions. We've done some studies that were kind of like school homework and we want something that will encourage discussion and relate to the issues women/moms/wives face.
Any help is greatly appreaciated!
We have done a great couple of Books by Liz Curtis Higgs. The first one we did was Bad Girls of the Bible and now we are doing Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible. Last year we did one called [u]A Lineage of Grace[u]by Francine Rivers. It was a cool book taking you through the women up until Mary. These have all been really great studies on women for women. Jus an idea! I am actually in San Antonio so feel free to dm me!

I picked up that book used this summer. It's on my list of books to read this winter.
Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer is an excellent rresource of study for women
and "Me and My Big Mouth" by Joyce Meyer also"
Just going thoroughly through these two books, should last sometime, and will help, inexperienced
as well as mature Christian women, everyone can relate to something in this book.
I hope that your study goes well

How did you like it?
This was my first EVER Bible Study. I have to say it really spoke to me. She has this unbelievable talent of taking scripture and turning it into something that could happen in today's society. Our Bible Study leader found all these amazing facts about how she used real events in her "Current" stories and the relate them back to the Bible stories. I actually liked this book the best out of all the ones I have read of hers. I will gladly chat with you anytime about it if you read through it! Happy Reading!

Beauty for Ashes by her would be awesome, I bet...
there is a study called "Shelter from the storm" that I'd love to be a part of, but can't find in Corpus CHristi

Cindy Littlefield presents a clear step-by-step process for victims of abuse to overcome the persuasive destruction that has happened to them. She draws not only from her experience (as a abuse victim) but also from her fifteen years of counseling as she guides the reader away from common mistakes.
My small group did a DVD series that I thought was excellent.
It was called, "In the Dust of the Rabbi" by Focus on the Family, Zondervan.
Very moving and we had lots of discussions about each section.
