Hmmmm.... It's interesting... I would be under the impression that Jesus does not want worship but a living and equal relationship with him. Walking along with him rather than being a subjective slave to his will. Believing in him but not taking on the burden of sacrifice such as he did - because he already did that.

Maybe it's just me, but when I hear the word worship I can't help but think of a poor 13th century pauper who is brought before the king of the land and fearfully gets down on his knees in a sign of submission and worship... That to me just doesn't seem to adequately fit the description of walking along with someone.

Quick question for you guys to discuss until I can get back here:
[

Is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and Name Above All Names worthy of worship?

Should we, as Christian, worship Jesus Christ?

Why or why not?

God bless!

10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Amen. Yes, the Father highly exalted Him and gave Him the name above all names. He is God's beloved Son who died for us on the cross and was raised to life. He deserves our worship. He is the exact representation of God, all things came into being through Him and in Him all things hold together. God bless.

He allows us to worship Him so that we will grow in Love and Perfection. If we can generate the vibrations necessary to fulfill all righteousness we will be like Him, and this He desires greatly, that we can abide in His presence.

If we can abide in His presence then we will have the same abilities "worlds without end".

godspeed,

freedom

Jesus willingly submits to the Father's will and worships the Father. He does not do this fearfully. It is a willing submission. All will be made subject to Him, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Him gladly. Believers joyfully and willingly worship Jesus not as fearful slaves but because of who He is and because of what He has done for us. He is our friend and He is also our Lord and Savior, our Redeemer. I will bless the Lord with all my soul and with all that is within me. God bless.

Fair enough. I was just offering my own two cents. I guess it doesn't really matter for me anyway. It's just my interpretation.

Phil, chapter 2:
5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Folks, a GREAT day is coming. I LOVE IT!
Bud
That pretty much sums it up!
