Along with yesterdays post, today I am thankful I woke up in time to kiss my husband off to work, the sun is now shinning.
That we didn't get any emergency or tragic calls last night.
And that I get to look forward to having laughs with some freinds at dinner tonight. Even if the laughs are on me.
O' and that I can share on CD

June is thankful for the little precious dog that is sleeping, curled up on June's lap, whose love and devotion to her is second only to hers, for him...

Such is the wonder and gift of love in June's world, right now, in this moment:

The embodiment of utter trust, curled up and sleeping on June's lap. The warmth of his little body absorbed by June's, as June's envelops his unconditional trust and love, giving back, without any conscious thought, the same. That is love. In the rise and fall of his breathing slumber; void of conscious thought. It just "is."

It's being completely aware of the present moment, and the little things that otherwise would go unnoticed.

-For which June is thankful...

Freedom, you can love those pancakes that you are eating right now...just don't LOVE those pancakes.

What's important is that we love.

What's important is that we are capable of loving.

What does June care whether it's her love for her little dog, or his for her, or whether you love your pancakes? It's what one accutely experiences in the moment, and the capacity to do so.

June tends to think that in their simplicity, we mistake and miss out on some very profound moments...

Think about it.

Yes, but long ago. June can't remember it really, so she has no clue what you are referencing here...

"sigh"

Just live in the moment, Freedom. It's what you'll find there that truly counts, and all that you are truly thankful for...
