I agree.

I was trying to think of Scriptures that would go along with the geese story. I kept coming back to Moses and the children of Israel.

Remember, Moses had people to hold up his arms when he was tired.

And, because of all of their grumbling and complaining,... arguing and blaming... it took the children of Israel 40 years to make a short journey.... and many died along the way.

These things are written as our example so that we don't make the same mistakes...
(there's also a scripture reference for that!)

Oh and nice thread, Curly! I love to watch the Canadian geese flying over in formation. There's something very soothing about it.

You probably have a party with my post!! LOL, but if that gives you joy, I'll muke all kines of mustates!!

Hugs to everyone.... and thank you, fundamentalist!! Being called a fanatic (finatic ) is such a compliment!!

God is so good...Yes, I love to watch the Canadian geese also and this story was so encouraging as I look around here lately and seeing my brothers and sisters being so attacked for their love of God and His precious word. And standing steadfast, walking in His truth no matter what!! Praise the Lord. We do need each another in this hour.

Just like World Citizen reminded us of Moses and the lifting of his arms and the two that came along side and held up his arms, while the children of Israel were battling. Everytime Moses arms came down they started losing....
Ah... but God brought the victory when they came to help Moses and that is what our God desires us to do for each other....

My desktop machine at home is fried and down for the count so I've been using my laptop.

Laptop keyboards give me a FIT!

But, uh, yeah, sure, it was on purpose.
