I have a good friend that grappled with the same issues you've posted - he swung his fist at God, griped and searched, asked and argued, etc.

Now he's a knowledgeable believer that can answer and debate with surety any topic. I like the path you're on!

Look, I know that some people need to dumb down the way they see the world so that they can gloss over the inconsistencies, but to me that is not a virtue. Ignorance is no good. Abandoning reason and logic is an easy way to recede into the dark ages.

The Mercy of God.

We come to this school, we are given strengths and weaknesses.

We are given our own playground.

Playgrounds have the innocent, the bully, the bench sitter, the adventurers, the thinkers and the fool, and yes it rains on them and burns in the heat.

Let it all play out. It's not the experience, tragedy, or celebration that rules the day. It's how we deal with it, that we take with us.

We are not what we think we are, We are what we think.

God is merciful, this is not the be all and end all on this sphere of existence, we have an eternity of sphere's and experiences to embrace, or curse.

It's up to us how we will perceive them, how we will respond.

godspeed,

freedom

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
