It is beyond us both - and all of us. Paul wrote about the mystery:

Christ in you, the hope of glory. Praise His name.

But again, think about this abit. Would your friend appreciate you if you walked up to them and pushed them into a pit so that they would know you as a rescuer? Would that strengthen your relationship and make it more meaningful?
God is much more than a human friend, Cg81. If He wants to show the nature and depth of His love for me by setting up the elements which call for its display, then to Him be the glory. I appreciate however He relates His love for me and realize the depth of that love in understanding that He sent His Son give His life for me. I will know more fully on that day. God bless.

You guys are IMPOSSIBLE!

How about returning to the topic and talking about the relationships we now have with God?

I feel a need to get closer.. my sinful will has marred the fervency, the closeness I have felt...the prayers where I can just feel Him there. But I know that God is still there, and that His love for me is stronger than I can imagine.

We can be one with Christ and receive a fulness of our Father. There is nothing that is beyond us, we are heirs to the fulness of Christ.

There is no delay to this wisdom and power but the one we put upon ourselves.

godspeed,

freedom

You're not alone, God knows I know.

I desire that we all have a revelation of the depth of this Love that will not let us go - I know that I've been fed spiritually "intravenously" for so long; without the ability it seems to pray or seek, He yet remains faithful.

I believe that as Jesus was the fulness of God, He did not know all things, Freedom, like the Father did and I believe that although we can be filled to the fulness of God, we don't know all things about His ways, like this passage expresses. Just sharing but maybe I misunderstood what you were sharing.

Romans 11
33O depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable His judgments, and untraceable His ways!

34for who did know the mind of the Lord? or who did become His counsellor?
35or who did first give to Him, and it shall be given back to him again? 36because of Him, and through Him, and to Him [are] the all things; to Him [is] the glory -- to the ages. Amen (YLT)

Okay, Cg81, I will be good from now on, and stay on track. God bless.

Then the Holy Spirit can never fulfill His job of leading us into all truth.

godspeed,
