Dont you dare go tell me that "right is right" and "wrong is wrong". How do you know my religion is wrong? How do you know yours is right. I am still going to stand with what I said and what I said was that I am happy you find fulfillment in Christ.

I have prayed to Jesus and felt nothing. I have prayed to Jesus and been let down. I actually, have been on a spiritual search for a while and found the most comfort and happiness in Paganism. I find it sad that you cannot say you also are happy I find fulfillment in what I believe in.

I'm sorry that you feel that Jesus let you down. But you know sometimes through the trials of life, when we feel that we can't stand, it's then that He is carrying us. Let me tell you about happiness, happiness is dependent on me being open, receptive. Now JOY, JOY comes from within! I don't have to broadcast that I'm happy because if you were sitting here right next to Betsey, you would see that I'm smiling away.

In case you don't know, I just buried my MOMMY, 4 weeks today. I was a mess. But let me tell you once more again, about JOY. JOY is knowing that my mother is resting in Jesus! JOY is knowing that that I too, Yes, me Betsey Lane WILL see her again! JOY is trusting God to fulfill ALL His promises, and JOY is me believing without a doubt, THY WILL, WILL BE DONE, whether we, I , you, they, them, those, whoever, believes it or not! Come back to the truth. Jesus is way! The only way.

I am sorry to hear about your mothers passing away.

But I do disagree with "Jesus is the only way". I believe all people who do good will go to Heaven if it exists.

Friend, there's only ONE WAY, and ONE WAY ONLY. One Way to life everlasting. Now, there are others ways, but NONE of them leads to life everlasting. None! You can't bypass the Son, and go straight to the throne. There's an order of things in the spiritual. For the Father sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to take our due punishment for sin, which was death; that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Remember the paths? One that leads to death? The other to life? There's PLENTY of ways which leads to death. A whole bunch! Including messing around with witchcraft. You will not find Jesus in that! You know that. And "doing" good will not get you there either. It's not by works that we are saved. You can't earn your way into heaven, nor can you buy your way. It's only through the very thing that you don't believe in, that being, Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and life everlasting; is how we reign with Him forever.

I believe that you, knowing that you are on a Christianity page, you are on here for one of two reasons. 1. You are seeking for sound biblical truths (or) 2. You are on here to sow discord. So until you specify specifically your true intent, I'm going to assume the former of the two. And believe me, you are only going to get the truth from me, Betsey. Now if I say something that may seem to you, to be harsh, I want you to count it all joy, knowing that it's the truth, the WHOLE truth, nothing but the truth, so help me God should I lead one of His children away!

Now if you are on here for the latter of the two, just to sow discord and/or distort truths, so help you God! For God is not mocked......................... You are old enough to know right from wrong, I'm sure. Past the age of accountability. It's all about choice. Choose carefully! Choose wisely! God bless.

Betsey I think that was so kind and loving how you treated that man. I met someone while I was on my scooter a few weeks ago like that. I think what puts people off sometimes is that people want to preach to someone without meeting their needs first. You were meeting his basic needs and encourageing him to go to church. I would think you left him feeling someone really cared about him. We all need to be better being aware of people in need. I have paid for groceries in the store and left things unnoticed at people's homes. I think many people who are discouraged with life need to see that someone really cares. Then many times they will ask why you are doing this and then you can freely tell them about Jesus and his love for them. And that Jesus is waiting to help us. Jesus is not Santa where you just ask and get something. God has a master plan and he allows things in and out of our lives for a reason. So many people have others fail them and then blame God. We need to read our Bibles to understand God's character not just go by our feelings.

Saw "my friend" today out on the corner, park and got out and said hello. He said he remembered me from the other day. Bought him something to eat and talked with him for a while. I learned that he was 67 years-old and thought that he failed as a father in his life and now his children does'nt care for him. Sir, Jesus told me to tell you that He still cares for you and you still count to Him. I care sir, do you have somewhere to sleep? It's really cold out here. Yes, I do, I live with a someone down the street, thank you for asking. Sir, I promised to meet you at the church tomorrow the offer still stands, sir you don't belong out here the church can help. Child, I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I'm just taking it one day at time, thank you for talking to me about Jesus, my mother was a pastor growing up, I know I don't belong out here, but I'm tired and can't go on. Sir, yes you can, you can reach deep down inside of you and remember your mom teaching you about Jesus and get up in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Sir, I will come by here in the morning and stop by to see if you'll come with me okay? God bless you sir and Jesus loves you regardless of what anyone says.


I'm going to keep talking to him everyday. Jesus can touch his heart, I know he can! Reach someone today, touch someone today, do something different today. Trust God in whatever He leads you to do. Make a difference. God bless.

That's only one person though, we can reach so many if each and everyone of us commit ourselves to 'stepping out of the box' each day. Do you know who you may reach for the kingdom? Imagine there's two thousand people in your town? (just a number) And each one, reach one? Just reaching out to someone who has no hope? On a daily basis? You know I try to imagine myself out there in this huge, scary world; lost, hungry, cold, homeless, etc. I would want someone to ask me mam, are you hungry, mam, are you cold, mam, how can I help? I would want someone to point me in the direction of the cross. And this person does'nt have any "strings attached", it's just their love of Christ inside of them that drives them. We all can make a difference. I believe it's my responsibility to reach out, my duty, if you will. I can't help who I am. God's been so good to me! If you only knew where He brought me from! There's nothing to big for my God! Nothing. He's a WONDER!

Betsy, in the town where I attend the church's Golden Year's class every Tuesday, there are 3 men who are apparently 'down on their luck' so to speak. They come to the class almost every week. They 'listen' to the lesson, eat the food at the potluck, and take home many containers of food. They have been doing this for months, even years for some, and none of them have become Christians. They are apparently only coming for the food.

Many of the brethren who attend the class visit with them, and I think there may be home studies with them. It appears to be going nowhere.

I know, not all are freeloaders, but it is very common.
