From what I understand faith based movies are the most prifitable right now while secular based or sexual movies are not fairing so well. We plan on purchasing fireproof when it comes out on DVD and I like Kirk much better in the Christian films than I did in him sitcoms. Way of the master is pretty cool to.
Yup, lots of Christians have made the Left behind franchise one of the richest in book and DVD history thumping lots of other sensible things too. Talk about fearmongering and taking liberties to levels unseen or unheard.
I REALLY enjoyed Religulous though. We poor (literally), minority atheist/agnostics can't even sell out a darn movie theater in this "christian" nation.
Kirk Cameron lost any bit of self-respect he had when he did the banana thing. I mean come on, at LEAST know what the heck you're talking about before making ignorant claims.

I enjoyed Fireproof. It was probably one of the better Christian films out there. That and I'm a fan of Kirk, have been since he days on Growing Pains (I was at just the right age to have a crush on him!). I refuse to see anything with Bill Maher, I'm not a fan of his. Now, if you want comedy I'd go with Dane Cook or the classics: Dave Berry and Bill Cosby, oh and the Smother's Brothers. Grew up listening to them (Mom loved them!).
Yes, it is. Especially if the watcher understands the facts about modern bananas.
Him and Comfort really thought they were on to something.
