Another "Heaven" Thread...just things I wonder about (hell, believe)

Okay, so we've established that children and animals will be in heaven. Well maybe not all of us believe that, but most.

This is just pure curiosity and can only be speculation on everyone's part because it just doesn't talk about this in the Bible.

Will the children always be children? Do we age in heaven? Will the infants/children age up to say 20 in human years, and then stop? If babies remain babies, will they be able to talk?

Will people who die old go younger? The Bible does say we will be perfect, but perfect by whose standards? Will children all grow forward in age and old people revert back in age where everyone is 20 years old?

I know, I think too much. It's just something fun to discuss, imo.

I always have felt like, we can't imagine the perfection that God has in store for us. I have a feeling age won't even be a concept. That is just what I think and of course have nothing to back it up ...I like this thread though. Thanks DOTL.

Thanks LT. I know....I don't even think our wildest, imaginative, and most creative thoughts could even come close to what it will really be like. So if age (just your opinion, I know) won't be a concept, what do you think we will look like?

When I went to heaven, I saw children, the ones I saw were like six to ten years old. But, of course heaven is a very big place and I did not go everywhere. Children in heaven are very peaceful. They have energy but I did not see them running around. I told two children "Look this is heaven" and they looked to where I was pointing and acknowledged me but my statement was actually an absurd statement of course it was heaven. The children never mocked me. The were very polite, always smiled and if you talked to them they would turn and look you right in the eyes. The attentiveness almost takes you off guard. Heaven is a facinating place for children and there is many things to occupy yourself with, but living in eternity the immediacy of having to finish something right now is gone. You have eternity to return and do something you were just enjoying. So, it is easy to stop playing and move onto something else.

People who were old still appeared young in heaven. Their skin glisened and no one had wrinkles. You just knew they were old.

I cant remember the scripture address, but it says half has yet to be told, there is much more than we can conceive or that we are so weak in the flesh that we are not capable of understanding.....

But I often wondered about music, as we know music to be timed when played, and the word says there is no time in heaven.....So how is music played?

Hello DOTL......Your latest two threads have given me license to dream....and to ponder the things of the heart...thank you for your imagination...it's fun...there are just so many vast ways to imagine how it will be..I believe that we will know our family and friends when we see them...and I also believe that I will meet each one of you, and know who you are when I see you! Would that not be amazing...or what? I know how i invision each of you now...it's funny how I "picture" some of you...I can just imagine how you may picture me ! I do believe in our bodies being perfect...the way God created them originally to be, before we got ahold of them! All-in-all, I know it will be GLORIOUS! Can't wait to be there!...with all of you!...Love

Thanks Verna!!! I just thought it was a good time to not be so "serious" and keep it light for the holidays. I think about heaven a lot and I love to hear what others think that it might be like also. We all have our own ideas and imaginations, and that makes it soooo interesting!!

I think we will know one another also, without having ever met in this life. I'm terrible at envisioning what people look like, I try but I just can't. I'm usually waaaay off. But heaven....well that's another story!! It WILL be glorious, like you said. Merry Christmas!!!

I think I remember you talking about this before but don't remember the details....did you have a NDE? How did you know it was real?

That's a good question....I have no idea!!! Guess that's another thing we can't conceive.

THat is a good question, I wonder about babies that are aborted. Well, we know that they want be in hell, they did not do anything to go there. So, I wonder if they will be in heaven fully grown. I wonder about animals, the animals we are use too, you know, like my dog. I was taught that an animal does not have a soul. If you read in the bible, there is no evidence to an animal dieing and going to heaven. So, if there are animals there, what types of animals. God says that his people and angels will be there. So, I quess I never thought about animals. So, day of the lord, you went to heaven like a vision or a dream?
