I'm not an extremist, so you wouldn't understand.

God has ordained that only men are to serve in positions of spiritual teaching authority in the church. This is not because men are necessarily better teachers, or because women are inferior or less intelligent (which is not the case). It is simply the way God designed the church to function.
So does your church have a man at the door with duct tape for all the womens' mouths?

No pastor, male nor female, has "authority over" members of the Parish.

Does it all ever just hurt your head?

Bottom line for me...women should not be in positions of authority over men.
So a man should never have a female boss?

I think you just have to understand what was happening in that church at the time with the women sitting on one side of the church, the men on the other and the women hollering across to ask the men stuff and causing a disruption in the church as others couldn't hear the preaching.

Read your bible
I'll pass. I've read a lot of it, but I'm not into book-worship, as are the funamentailsts/extremists. I don't take it all literally either.

As any religion moves more toward literalism/fundamentalism, it moves toward intolerance and extremism. I don't find that healthy.
