Because you are reading them as a very conceptually limited and primitive mind would. You MUST use the knowledge of Jesus's disposition and example (unconditional love and acceptance) . . . to filter the primitive concepts.

You still have not answered my question, if you don't know you are right, how you know we are wrong? The knowledge of Jesus disposition, is that a biblical way of reading the bible? second- what do you do with all the genocides committed by God His Father who He loves and obeys in the Old Testament? and what about the not so nice Jesus that promises to return?

That requires an extensive hermeneutic exegesis (historical, canonical, symbolic and rational . . . which unavoidably involves some eisegesis) of the OT that cannot be conveyed in a glib conversation with a literalist who has probably not tried to do anything remotely like that.
