It is Satan's plan to stop the Church of Jesus Christ from moving out in power and victory. In order to recognize Satan and his work, we need to know his tactics and strategies so that we can take our position of full power and authority over him. Before we can launch a victorious offensive attack against Satan, we must know our enemy, his characteristics and his strategies.
SATANS STRATEGIES:
Temptation
Deception
Unbelief
Worry
Disobedience
Rebellion
Hardening of the heart
Using Circumstances to defeat you
Sowing lies
Fear
To gian access to our minds
Apathy-lack of emotion or feeling
To accuse and Slander
To war against God's people

DECEPTION:

2 Cor.11:3: But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the somplicity that is in Christ.
(NIV) Version: But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent.

THE CORRUPTION OF OUR MINDS THROUGH DECEPTION

To be able to stand firm in the days to come, God's people must know and recognize Satan as the Arch Deceiver and imposter that he is. You must KNOW his strategy of deception, know where the battle must be fought and won, and have an offensive plan to resist; TO RESIST Satan.
Paul was greatly concerned about the believers in the churches becoming deceived. Repeatedly he warned them, saying, "Be not DECIEVED..." (Gal.6:7)..."Let no man Deceive you..." (EPH>5:6). Paul pinpoints WHERE the deception of Eve took place...in her MIND.
Satan's objective in the garden of Eden was to CORRUPT Eve's mind. God created Adam and Eve with minds that were perfect, and 100 percent in harmony with Him.
God gave them the power of a free will and the ability to control their own destiny.
When God placed the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden and told them not to eat of it or they would die, they had to choose to obey God and live, or to disobey God and die. Satan had absolutely no control over Adam and Eve. His strategy was to DECEIVE Eve so that she would use her free will to choose to disobey God.
Notice HOW Eve was deceived. Satan SEDUCED her through false promises. He told her, "...You surely shall not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" (Gen.3:4-5). The deception was that she would not suffer the consequences of her sin and not die, as God had said. Instead, she was led to believe that she would become wise like God.
Deception, simply stated, involves the pretense of making something to appear to be something it is not. Satan ENTICED Eve. He lured her by arousing a desire within her to be wise...like God...the result being the CORRUPTION of Eve's perfect mind.
She yielded to the desire within her, she used her will to rebel against God. "...she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate..." Man's perfect mind became corrupted, and Satan gained control.
Today Jesus has destroyed Satan's hold on man's mind. Through Him our minds are restored... set free from the power of sin (Rom. 6:18) Through Christ, we have the power to resist every deception of Satan. However, it is up to us to RESIST...to win the war in our minds. It is up to us to PUT OFF fhe old nature...the mind that has been corrupted by our sinful desires and lusts. It is up to us to PUT ON the new man (The mind of Christ)...which is a perfect mind, free of impurity. (Eph.4:22-24).

Thank you Jesus...for your awesome truth that heals us...body...mind...and soul....Love

Satan Offense, Spiritual Warfare & Victory over the Darkness
Matt 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.
“Satan Offense”
Offense itself is not deadly – if it stays in the tray. But if we pick it up and consume it and feed on it in our hearts, then we have become offense. Offense people produce much fruit, such as anger, outrage, jealousy, resentment, Strife, bitterness, hatred, and envy. Some of the consequences of picking up an offense are insults, attacks, wounding, divisions, separation, wounding division, and broken relationships betrayal, and backsliding. Often those who offended do not even realize they are trapped. They are oblivions to their condition because they are so focused on wrong that was done to them. They are in denial. The most effective way for the enemy to blind us is to cause us to focus on ourselves.
Luke 17:1"It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
Matt 18:6-7 Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
Matt 18:5-6 "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
1 Cor. 8:1-13 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.
2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
4 Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords),
6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
7 However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
8 But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.
9 But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.
10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols?
11 And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
12 But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
13 Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.
Luke 17:1 It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
Psalms 55:12-14 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
The Deceptive Trap
The Greek word for “offend” in Luke 17: 1 comes from the word skandalon.
Usage Notes:

English Words used in KJV: skandalon.
Offence 9
stumbling block 3
occasion of stumbling 1
occasion to fall 1
thing that offends 1
[Total Count: 15]

(“scandal”); probably from a derivative of <G2578> (kampto); a trap-stick (bent sapling), i.e. snare (figurative cause of displeasure or sin) :- occasion to fall (of stumbling), offence, thing that offends, stumblingblock.

This word originally referred to the part of the trap to which the bait was attached.
If it stays in the tray. Hence the word signifies laying a trap in someone’s way. In the New Testament it often describes an entrapment used by the enemy. Offense is a tool of the devil to bring people into captivity. Paul instructed young Timothy:
2 Tim 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
