You miss the point of the statement, another person pointed out that other things were against the law and that homosexuality wasnt. My point was that homosexuality was at one time and therefore thanks to the legalisation of homosexuality and all the special rights they are asking for that those other things may become legal in the very near future thanks to the legalisation of this immoral act.

You do realise that the word homosexual was only brought into use in many English translations of the Bible in the 20th century? Before that, it used to be translated as "masturbators".
You are right, the Bible is not homophobic because there is nothing about homosexuality or sexual orientation in the Bible - a concept that was not recognised at the time the texts were first written.
How can the Bible be absolute if translators can change the meanings of the original Hebrew and Greek words and verses to suit their own biases or the biases of the church who commissioned them?
Actually Paul created a new word that is being translated homosexual, but if we must get technical the word sodomite was understood to mean the same as homosexual.

Well see that is where things get confused. If we share Gods word, we are accused of judging or condemning. From what I understand from scripture we are to preach and teach the word to the world and then God will do the rest. In actuality the Word is offensive to the world but if we are not honest in our sharing then we hate those we do not warn.

You are only qualified to express YOUR understanding of the Word . . . NOT espouse it as infallible truth . . . because it is ONLY YOUR interpretation of the truth. As long as you qualify your witnessing as YOUR understanding then you will not be perceived as so obnoxious and arrogant and intolerant.
