Agreed. His words and actions do and will speak for themselves.

Wow. Good question, almost got me.

Was the Bible by then already a complete compendium or was Jeremiah when writing this verse giving an account of his own quest for truth beyond further writings?

Which came first, the Heart or the writings?

Which comes first, the (human) being or the scholar?

It was Jesus, who gave "the right" answer to that: "Seek ye first the kingdom of Heaven, and all else will be added to that.

imho feelings included. and not the disappointed ones.

I asked you a question 15 people with 15 interpretations of salvation. Are they all right?
Are they all thinking and feeling and acting like Jesus under the guidance of the holy spirit? If yes . . . then yes they are.

I think we need a study of Romans 13: 1-7
They begin with: "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God."

And as Shana said: "God bless our President Elect and give him wisdom and strength to face the days ahead."

We are commanded to do this.

How can they think, act, feel the same if their interpretation of salvation is different? Is this possible? have any examples?

I would be terrified to stand before God and have to explain that I denied His gift of the Holy Spirit out of fear.

Regardless if the bible was printed, it has always been the Word of God. We have the OT as well as the NT- The word of God has been revealed to us in its entirety, we have more revelation than Moses and Abraham. The word of God is in the bible, no where else.

Ya um, the pledge of allegiance didn't have "under god" until the 1950s. It was a McCarthy tool because the particular 'commies' they were looking for supposedly wouldn't say "under god."

Read the Constitution, First Amendment to see that no specific religion should be encouraged by the government; or the Treaty of Tripoli that specifically says America IS NOT a Christian nation.

"The Bible won't be used at inauguration". HOW RIDICULOUS.

Haven't you heard they will be using the "LINCOLN" BIBLE (that which belonged to Abraham Lincoln). The whole theme is honoring our 16th President, Lincoln.
