The Passover was a feast

Every Passover there is a lamb that is spotless that is brought to Jerusalem, and all the people wait at the gates for when the priest brings in the lamb. They would shout
Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord

Jesus came in about the same time which was symbolic because He was the Perfect Lamb

When Jesus broke bread at the table He was performing the Passover meal.

Jesus was/is the Lamb at Passover
Gentiles who were idolaters were known to exploit everything, and try to mesh in their customs with God's. This is why Paul indicated that when they meet it was not to celebrate the Lord's Supper.
Jews already knew that you celebrate it once per year at Passover

Gentiles didn't know...and many still don't know

this is why the sacred oracles aka Word of God are committed to the Jews

1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Your still going off on a tangent, FOCUS HERE, we're not talking about when it should be held, We talking about WHAT IT IS. I'm sure you're a smart man, I'm sure you can FOCUS. Try that for me, will you?

Passover is 'what it is'

Capisce?

No need to resort or to try to resort to personal attacks if you dont understand the topic at hand.

It's obvious you think as you're getting frustrated, and can't even hold a debate w/out resorting to attacks!

There you go, listen I know what the passover meal was. Whats your point behind it? What does it have to do with what communion is? If your trying to make a point, make it.

1. Disciples got mad at Him because they didnt understand Him
2. Jesus clarifies what He's talking about as the disciples thought he was actually talking LITERALLY

now let's see this occur in scriptures

60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
Here's 1 where they get upset....

61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
This is Jesus perceiving their thoughts

62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
This is Jesus explaining that FLESH profiteth nothing.
This is why we receive the Lord's Supper SPIRITUALLY not 'fleshly' as FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING.

and Jesus clarifies it at the end by saying

the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1. the words He spoke to the people
2. are SPIRIT

is that not clear enough for you or will you continue to follow teachings/traditions of man?

You know that would almost sound convincing if you just look at that part, but if you continue reading, they still think that he is talking literally, so THEY LEAVE, by the HUNREDS, if Jesus wasn't talking literally, He would have called them back, But no, he lets them leave, and then asks if the apostles want to leave to.

lol

hundreds? did you see this in one of the Jesus movies?

There is one who stayed...and still betrayed Jesus at the end.
I'm going to take Jesus word(s) on this one and know that He said His words are SPIRIT not Flesh because FLESH PROFITS NOTHING!

You're only speculating why people left

It would be the same story of Nicodemus

Are you going to be like Nicodemus?
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

or believe Jesus?

5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Yeah our flesh doesn't profit, that doesn't mean our spirit doesn't profit through his flesh. The words are spirit, doesn't mean his flesh is. He's Just saying that what he says is true. What does Judas have to do with communion. You keep adding these don't affect what communion is. And it said many, hundreds is just a guest, but it was a lot, and why does the number matter? It doesn't

And again here, what does baptism have to with communion. There you go again bringing up things that do not pertain to the subject at hand.

2. I brought up Nicodemus because you dont read the whole chapter, and take things LITERAL like Nicodemus especially when Jesus clarifies it later on in the passage.

Jesus said to eat/drink His flesh/blood

then he later tells them in the same context that His words were SPIRIT

He was correcting them because they thought he meant LITERALLY

They still left because they didnt understand what He meant.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive

NONE will keep you from salvation,
I have to disagree on this point. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" and "Thou shalt make no graven image" are violated if we pray to angels, or a deceased human (Mary is not part of the Godhead, she was purely human) whether they were believers (saints) or not. A church does not make a saint. The Bible clearly teaches that all believers are saints. Even I am a saint. A man (or woman) can forgive my sin against them only. They cannot forgive any of my other sins. Only God can do that. I believe that there are many in the RC church that will be in God's Kingdom, but the closer one follows catholicism, the more in danger of condemnation they become. I know I have offended some really good people, and that grieves me, but this is what I have to believe if I believe what the Bible teaches. Learn from the Bible, not men. Men are often wrong. The Bible is never wrong.

that is an oxymoron

How can someone continually commit idolatry by worshipping idols and be a Child of God?
