and this is to show that it is spirit

John 6
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Hes just saying that words is says it the truth.

Listen the Apostles believed it was the PHYSICAL BODY AND BLOOD of Christ, The first church father believed and wrote that it was the actual body and blood of christ. And for 2000 years We believed it was the actual blood of christ. Its not like we made it up 1400 years later.

MOST Protestants decided to change their mind. Catholics haven't changed theirs.

Read the writing of the early church fathers, I DARE you, and you will read the beliefs that I wrote to you.

Its obvious your not opened minded.

Go in Peace

the words are spirit says it all

open minded is the wrong way to look at the Word of God.

there's only 1 interpretation not many

The Apostles did not believe in eating the blood of anything.
Remember that the Apostles were Jews

Many people dont understand the Lord's supper

1. It was the Passover meal
Jesus was the sacrificial lamb that was given to man
2. Read the book of Corinthians. If you understood the Jewish feast of Passover then you would understand the Lord Supper.
3. Lord Supper=Passover

who is THEY you are reffering to? The early church fathers? And Why does what they say not matter. Its what the people that the disciples taught believed. Thats what the early church believed. You won't read it will you. Cause if you do you KNOW you'll have to change your belief. The disciple believed what I believe. Why you won't even listen to them is beond me.

I'm done with this. If you won't read the evidence that I present, then we are going nowhere

documents from the catholic church is not evidence

do you have anything in the bible that proves your point?

1. the Lord's supper was celebrated once per year
The early church didn't celebrate every week yet the catholic church celebrates it every week!

2. the oracles of God were given to the Jews as it states in the bible not to the Gentiles
