He said Himself, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill." (Mat 5:17)
It's my humble opinion that being filled with Him (or grafted into the Vine, however you term it) is the only way for us to obey the requirements of the law. To put our trust totally in His life is pleasing to the Father, and to think that we can do the job ourselves is not trusting Him implicitly.

I am not a Jew. I am not under the Mosaic Laws. I am not under, nor subjected, to any Law that goes against the Law of Love. The Law of Love, or rather, I should say, the commandment to Love, is the ONLY Law by which to live. Anything else, well,is religion.
No matter what is said, or what is read. This goes for any person, anywhere, on this planet. ALL men are created in the image of God. Which goes without saying, that those who KNOW the Law of Love, without ever "hearing" from a religious person to what it is, is what Romans 2 is talking about.
Also, those who for their own personal reasons, decide that their beliefs in the same God, take them to another path of righteousness, which means they follow the divine Law, is also between them and God, and it is not for us to decide, or to judge.
Take Gandhi, for example. I firmly believe from what I read about him, and what he believed in, that God will welcome him with open arms. Now, how many Christians would that just irk? I can already hear it now,,,LORD, LORD!!! But, like I said, God KNOWS the hearts of men. Are they His, and follow His ways, or are they of the earth, and follow their own selfish, sinful ways.
And as far as Jesus's Blood being big enough for ALL of mankind, I also believe this as well. It was for ALL of mankind that He died, not just the wishful thinkers. It is sad that they haven't heard the "Good News" yet, for the most part. The best part of "for the most part" though is, that although they have not "heard" yet, they also are not indoctrinated into a "form" of Godliness as well, called "carnal Christianity".

The Law shows sin, that we cannot live up to its standard. Yes it is impossible. Jesus died for them as well so they didn't have to live perfect lives.

The lord also says the heart is a deceitful thing and as we all know love has been misinterpreted on so many levels that it is barely recognizable in todays society.

Oh, you have hit the nail squarely on the head. Nice!
It is not impossible to know God while living in a vessel of unregeneration. But it must be regenerated or on the way. It only comes from the power of Love that God is truly known. It is our battle, over the carnality of our desires, and lusts. Over our angers, and our covetness, Over our greed, and our self-induced "god complexes".
It is letting go, and being humble in front of God, praying, crying. It is looking in a newborns first smile, and seeing the purest Love on the planet. It is being hurt by the world, and seeing the power of TRUE friendships. It is seeing our gifts of creation, given to us by our Father, and marveling in it's majesty.
It is taking US off the throne in our temples, and asking Jesus to sit on His Rightful Throne, thereby letting go and letting Him do the things He wants us to do.
We all have our gifts of talents that God uses for His purposes.

I'm not talking about the laws of the Jews, i'm speaking of the commands of God, even the promises.
If you keep the first command. To love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, mind, soul, and strength, then the law is fulfilled. No need to tye a string around your waist on the Sabbath to go visit a neighbor....
godspeed,
freedom

Perhaps it means that with love in one's heart, following God's will is instinctual. One no longer needs a bunch of instructions because doing the right thing comes naturally.

I suspect that is only true for those who have never really experienced love, Robin . . . otherwise it is unmistakable . . . as is its absence.

People are condemned not for what they don't know, but for what they do with what they do know. Those who know God's written Word and His law will be judged by them. Those who have never seen a Bible still know right from wrong, and they will be judged because they violated those standards that their own consciences dictated. God's law is written within them.
