I ask because although I'm a Christian, I don't think God is involved in day to day events. I hate to hear people say that someone was saved by the grace of God, because it means that when someone suffers or dies a dreadful death that God withheld His grace I don't think that God answers some parents' prayers and ignores or denies others. That would be arbitrary and cruel. Rather I think that He is present regardless of what life brings us.

So does this mean all the little babies who suffered and diet at an early birth were ignored by god? What about mom? Was she not worthy to be saved? Let's face it...god has nothing to do with the day in day out part of life. People are saved by medical science every single day.

Oh I see. Yes, we both are Certified Appraisers and both live in Terlton, OK. But the similarities stop there, trust me

Several people on the Oklahoma forum have met us, they can confirm that

Maybe not your day to day events. You're breathing right now? I'll say that alone in itself, is "intervention" at it's finest.

I buried my "mommy" a little over 12 weeks ago and my best friend, 7 days ago. Did I think He was mean? No. Was I hurt? (devastated would be a better choice of word) Yes. Did He make a mistake in taking my mother? My friend? No.

Do I trust that He is Lord and He's got it all under control? Absolutely! I trust that He's got it all under control.

Yes, one of those, "God works in mysterious ways" situation to you!! However, it does'nt have to remain a "mystery" to you, if you become acquainted with Him.

It makes a huge difference when you know where your soul will reside. Death, that is. It does'nt lessen the pain, only time does that, but when you know, what you know, what you know, joy comes around much faster. Bless.

PS: What does God have to do with this subject? EVERYTHING. The Giver of Life is God. Even unto those knowledgeable surgeons.

Sorry but I don't want to be acquainted with someone who lets attrocities like 9/11 happen, the holocaust and sensless murderers, rapists and perverts walk the streets.Don't get me wrong it is fantastic news that the baby survived but as for god being involved,I don't think so.Its all the surgeons glory.
