If so-called Christians do not live free from all sin, then what right do they have to point out the sin of homosexuality? We must be living free from sin ourselves before we can even be taken seriously.

When Jesus said, "go and sin no more", He meant "no more"; this includes all willful sin like gossiping, lying (white lies included), backbiting, debates, whispering, wrath, strife, etc...

Galatians 5
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

2 Corinthians 12:20
For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults

Just a thought
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous[1] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[2] 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Flee Sexual Immorality

12 “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be enslaved by anything. 13 “Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined[3] to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin[4] a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

We do not wish that any should suffer so we share this in love for our fellow man.

Then I'll assume you consider heterosexual parents who adopt or use IVF or a surrogate to become parents are also inferior people

you dont have to have a baby to be in love. And look at all the married straight couples that can't bare children do to issues of reproducing. Or how about when older folk get married in thier 60s, 70s, or 80s. Marriage has nothing to do w/ the ability of having children.

freedom......yeah right more like second class citizens.

Default This is very difficult for me to address...

...and the reason it is so difficult for me, is because I know how difficult it is for those who are living this kind of lifestyle to hear us go on and on about it...because usually....nine times out of ten we come across as, well...some judgemental...some cruel...some impatient...some unkind...some shallow...some deep...we know it is a sin...o.k...and sin is sin...o.k...and in my own personal opinion...the precious...and I mean PRECIOUS individuals that I know personally are just THAT to me...precious! I love them with every breath in me...I am not seperated from the love that I have for them because of the lifestyle they have chosen...I just love them, that's all, love them. This doesn't mean that I condone it...they all know where I stand as a Christian, and whenever the subject arises, and I am asked...I very lovingly and tenderly let them know that I love them...and God loves them...and He wants them to accept His Son Jesus into their hearts so He can change them...they look at me and see the Jesus who loves them through me......right where they're at...in all their "stuff"...when I first heard the call of Jesus call on my life...I remember where I was...and it was ugly...and it was dark...and He loved me...right there......how can I be any different...? I want to be a testimony of His unconditional love...and I know the Holy Spirit can use this right Spirit that is within me to do a miraculous work in them...in His time...not mine...Love

Can you imagine? Me, a gay man, my partner and our children, are living in a neighborhood, in peace, where we're viewed as parents, friends, neighbors, equals? No one preaches at us, no one quotes scripture at us. We go to church where our family and our relationship are rightly considered valid. We help our neighbors, volunteer at our church, nurture our children.

Is it totally foreign to you that gay people can live like this? Or does my description of my life contradict how you think gay men live? Do you even know any gay people on a personal level?
So you are saying that you live in a commited relationship with another man and you have children? If so then you are denying your children the benefit of a mother and therefore not giving them the opportunity to experience the God given love of a true family experience. Please do not take this as me condeming you, I am merely pointing out the obvious difference between heterosexual and homosexual relationships.

There are indeed people born with a desire for the same sex; it is part of the curse from the fall of man. However, there are some who choose that lifestyle.

Whatever the case may be, practicing that lifestyle is sin, like fornication, adultery, lying, stealing, etc... All sinners can make the excuse that they are born with a desire to sin against God, but it will not do any good on judgment day. People must repent of all sin.

Well if you wish to take it that way then there is nothing I can do to convince you otherwise. I struggled with same sex attraction as a teen and chose to be straight. I still find beauty in others of the same sex but have no desire to have sexual intercourse or romantic relationships with them. I also, being a married man, have no desire to have sexual intercourse with anyone other than my wife. I am sorry if you feel insulted, but you must understand that I could feel insulted as well by those who say they have no choice when I know for a fact they do and I have known many who have changed. The reason you do not hear much about them is because they are private people. As you can tell anyone who tries to make such changes and are put in the limelight they are ridiculled and attacked by both sides. Ted Haggard to name one and Anne Heche to name another.

I will not argue with that because I agree, this is why I like the verse that says "why do you focus on the speck in your brothers eye while you have a beam in your own?". I am an open book will to admit my sins to anyone and repent constantly.

What does "arsenokoitai" really mean?
Nobody knows for certain.
"Arsenokoitai" is made up of two parts: "arsen" means "man"; "koitai" means "beds."
Although the word in English Bibles is interpreted as referring to homosexuals, we can be fairly certain that this is not the meaning that Paul wanted to convey. If he had, he would have used the word "paiderasste." That was the standard Greek term at the time for sexual behavior between males. We can conclude that he probably meant something different than people who engaged in male-male adult sexual behavior.
