Genesis 6
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Have you forgotten that God sent His Son 2000 years ago dwelt amongst the worst of us , loved us at our worst and that very same Jesus who did not condemn the woman caught in adultery , loved tax collectors , harlots , prostitutes and all that religion would call outcasts , is the same today , yesterday and to the ages.
When Jesus said "As it was in the days of Noah so also will be the coming of the Son of man " ,he was saying the status quo would be no different.
Yes the world is the same state and let's not forget that it is reserved for FIRE this time.
Yes, Ilene. It will be a judgement of fire this time.
Jesus stands ready to forgive sinners so they can rest in His bosom of love. But, if they won't come to the well of divine blood to be cleansed, then the only thing left for them is judgement -- and woe unto them!

In other words He's going to destroy all those He loves with eternal torment ?
God is a consuming fire - you can't know Him without being burned.
