If God KNEW that he was going to be burning so many in hell then why did he create us? Why did he put us on a planet where he put Lucifer? Why not send Lucifer to Mars or Pluto? That seems cruel and heartless! I wouldn't have a child and put him in a room full of forbidden items knowing I'd kill him if he messed with the forbidden items. And then send a "serpent" in there to taunt him to play with the forbidden items...If a human wouldn't do this then why would a "loving" god?

Simple. He created us for His glory, all of it gives Him the glory. It is one of God's natures to receive glory. He must always get the glory. His preordained plan, His sending Jesus, His saving us, His send us to hell etc....all gives Him the glory.

Huh? Who said He would do that?

We were created to show forth His Glory, and He will be glorified.

He created us to fellowship with Him and to love us. He allows us to make the choice to love Him or deny Him and He loves enough to respect our choice, even when it's wrong.

God created man to someday become a member of the God Family. He is reproducing himself for a purpose we will only know in the future. He placed us mortals here on earth for an education... to learn and build up character through trial and error. Those who passed the test will acquire immortality while the wicked will go back to where they come from... dust to dust.

God is supposed to be all knowing....remember....If that is true, then he knew!

So the vile, sinful, horrible, worthless creatures that we are is his glory? What exactly does that phrase mean anyhow? "For his glory"

No His creation was perfect, man brought sin and the downfall. The glory of God is the beauty of His spirit; the beauty that emanates from His character. Man “glorifies” God because through man God’s glory can be seen in things such as love, music etc...

So let me ask, if you knew some of your children were going to be good and you knew some of them were going to be bad, what would you do?
