I dont see christianity being outlawed any time soon in this country.
I could see banning of "hate speech" similar to Sweden,England etc
Where if you speak against homosexuality, etc they can jail you.
And to the earlier poster who posted 3 photos that said christians arent..
Victims you need to read up on all the people in Africa,Middle-east,etc
Who die for believing in Christ.

But Africa and America have a different culture. In Africa their is a spiritual battle between muslims, christians, witches, and people who practice voodoo, and stuff like that. My church has a mother church in africa and we go back and forth over there to help people and bring them closer to Christ.
It will never happen you say? First Amendment you say? I say it is already happening here. I am constantly reading news articles about Christians who are being persecuted for their faith. Not being killed, as in other countries (at least not yet), but persecuted just the same. Christians are being arrested or threatened with arrest for sharing their faith in public. Remember the Philadelphia 7? Colleges all around the country are attempting to silence Christian students in regards to their faith. Due to the efforts of hard working public interest law firms, many of these attempts are beaten back.
However, not all is well in America. Did you happen to take note of the hatred and violence that erupted across the country in response to the failure of California's Prop 8, which amended the state constitution to define marriage as between one man and one woman? A man, who is a former homosexual, in Madison WI was recently convicted of a hate crime for sharing his faith with a gay man at a gas station. He faced a possible year in jail and $10,000 fine. What if Christianity’s critics got serious? He was eventually sentenced to attend a reeducation program.
A photographer in CO was fined for refusing to photograph a homosexual wedding.http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=61342 Hate crimes laws are springing up all across the nation. The Messiah in the White House is promising to establish Federal Hate crimes.
A segment of society is becoming increasingly hostile to Christianity. They are well funded and have the support of the left wing media and politicians. Soon it will be a crime to be a Christian. There are already camps set up for those who are deemed to dangerous to the New World Order, especially patriots and Christians. AMERICAN CONCENTRATION CAMPS
What will you do when you could be arrested for speaking the Truth?
Oh waahhhh! Blame the gays, blah, blah, blah. Christianity isn't being outlawed. Nutty far-right fundamentalist preachers just tell their ignorant masses that the homos are trying to take over their churches and turn them into bath houses to rile them up and keep them coming back.
And you know, there are gay Christians in this country too.
Name calling and bible thumping aside, the crux of the issue is as follows:
How can a government charge you for a "hate crime" for merely stating your beliefs or faith?
The answer is simple. If you claim to be a statutory person in the form of "US citizen", then the government can and will hold you to any and every code, statute, ordinance, etc. that gets passed. You agreed to be "lorded over" by your king, the state, whenever you claim citizenship in their jurisdiction. To complain about it is useless. We, as servants of Christ are not to pledge our allegiance to any fictional entity. The government is a fiction created by men. Why would the creator bow down to the created? It is only by voluntary submission and adhesive contracts that we empower the powerless fiction in law to rule over us. Those in government are ordained by God to rule on earth, however they stand on the shoulders of our King, Jesus the Christ, and are obligated to obey His commands, to punish evildoers and reward those doers of good. (John 18:23, Romans 13:3-4, 1 Peter 2:14) The definition of good and evil is defined in scripture. If governments add to or change the authority God has given them, then they are due no obedience. We cannot obey conflicting commands. We must obey God first and only.
Therefore, to avoid being legally charged with crimes or violations, we must separate ourselves from the fictional statutory realm which enslaves and punishes the people for acts which the government defines as illegal, but not considered evil or sinful in scripture.
The only act in question here is simply stating a belief or faith that may offend someone, not accusing someone of being a sinner. Only God can judge, no one else.

Who, unless they repent and ask forgiveness for their sin, will be one of those people that we discussed in Matthew 7:21-23.

Yea, know name calling is not nice. It seems like you have a a problem with a particular group of people, and we should learn to live with everyone. Christ is the judge and we have not the right to call names and put people down.
It's no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me.
