Do you know what medicine I like the best?
God and Jesus.
Yup! That's what my four year old just said to me. I know that this isn't a true "thread starter", but I just had to share. He is the most unbelievable little person that I know. As my sister-in-law put it, "he has the best answers".
He was once asked who his favorite superhero was. His answer, "Jesus".
OK, in an attempt to actually make this thread go somewhere, my questions is:
Do you have any great quotes that you would like to share?
(Oh, and for those of you who are wondering...NO, I'm not staying. This place is a sickness, an addiction, trouble with a capital T!)

That is precious Weather!!!! Thanks for sharing. I love what little kids say....it can really make your day.
And I also understand what you are saying.....sickness, addiction and trouble really don't begin to cover it!!!
I have a little story, nothing to do with religion but precious nonetheless. About 4 years ago I was driving with my 2 nephews in the back, who were going to spend the night with me. At the time one was about 8 and the other 3. They loved to spend the night with me, and my 8 year old nephew was a real chatterbox. He was in the back singing my praises, and asked his little brother if he loved spending the night with Aunt Janice. He piped up from his little car seat and said:

WEATHER, we are friends, remember?
let me share a song with you expressing a lot of unresolved stuff between the head and the heart.
Very cute. Sometimes kids can be the best medicine for us. Yesterday I was at the laundromat, and my 9 month old was sitting in her stroller staring at me while I was folding clothes. She has recently begun saying "mama", and while she sat there, she said it repeatedly over and over. My heart was soaring, as I just listened.
Until the woman across from me said how cute that was, and asked how old she was...my daughter stopped talking and looked at her, and she didn't say mama again the rest of the time there.
Awe....weather, absolutely love it!!!
It is so beautiful what our children say!
I remember one time my son was about 6yrs old and he was having a rough day at school, so his teacher called and let me know how restless he was that day...
Well to make long story short, he came in from school and of course I question him about his difficulties that day.... he looked at me real puzzled and asked, "Did Jesus tell you?" It took everything I had to keep from smiling it was so precious... I did tell him, "well sorta"!
So many good memories!! I treasure all in my heart.
Not religious, but I asked my little cousin what you put in something to make it lighter, the answer is a hole. My cousin replied, "a lightbulb". I never thought of that before I heard it from him.
When Little June was 5 and had first started school, as I was putting him to bed one night right before Christmas, he asked me: "Mommy, some kids in my class say that Santa isn't real and that our parents really buy all those presents. Is that true?" I told him that I would give him a truthful answer, but wanted to ask him one thing first, which was: "What do you think? Do you think that Santa is real?" His response:
"I don't know...My head tells me one thing, but my heart tells me another."
To which June replied: "The truth is I think you should always trust your heart."
My dear "Spud..." xoxo
