Here is a concept that many Christians don't understand:

The Kingdom of God is not a democracy where the opinion of the majority establishes truth --or where any man is allowed to have "his truth" when it contradicts the heavenly Father's truth.

The first commandment reads: "Thou shalt not have any gods before me." We are idolaters who have gone whoring after other gods when we usurp the authority of the heavenly Father.

The message of the gospel of Matthew is "Behold Your King."

Good post!

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all Thy heart, soul, mind, and strength.. and thy neighbor as thyself."

We must serve God first of all, for He is sovereign.

Yes, I agree. Also it is behold your King, and these are His Ways, which are not your ways. This is how He expects us to Live, and it is in no way, how we are used to living, or even for some, desire to..

Very true. The bible says that God is a jealous God and will not share His glory with anyone.

Would it not be true that if we did not obey Him he is not our King? If we refuse to obey his law are we not being your own King?

Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
