Quote:
The disciplines, the chastenings of our Father are designed for this very purpose-- that we might BECOME holy. The very word "become" signifies a process, a growing up into Him, a going on to perfection. The pre-requisite of becoming holy is clearly stated in that phrase, "without which no man shall see the Lord." Thus it becomes imperative, vitally essential-- not a matter of choice, but of necessity. WE WOULD SEE JESUS! Therefore we must endure the processings which produce that holiness required. To stand before Him who is "high and lifted up, whose train fills the temple," [Isaiah 6:1], where the seraphims cry, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts," means that there must be these deep inworkings of God in us, that we might be found "faultless before the presence of His glory." [Jude 24].

Default Sea of Glass

Revelation 4:6 - Before the throne there was, as it were, a sea of glass like crystal.

THE GLASS SEA IS A SYMBOL: THERE ARE NO RIPPLES, NO WAVES, NO ANXIETIES TROUBLING GOD. THE LORD IS NEVER WORRIED, NEVER IN A HURRY NOR WITHOUT AN ANSWER. THE SEA AROUND HIM IS PERFECTLY STILL AND TOTALLY CALM. ALL OUR VICTORIES FLOW OUT FROM BEING SEATED HERE WITH HIM.

AFFIRMATION

I DEEM MYSELF TO BE DEAD TO SIN, ENERGIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

The cares of this life emerge as very small items indeed along our daily path.

-George MacDonald-

Quote:
Prayer is the expression of a good desire. The human heart is full of restless desires, and the prayers of men consist for the most part of the unsifted petitions which are urged by their varying passions. To desire what is right, and to desire it consistently, and passionately, is the first condition of true living; the desires can be corrected only by truth, the mind must apprehend God, and then it will say, 'There is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.'

-P. T. Barnum-

Quote:
The call of God is not issued good for thirty days or until death, but good until used. The present life is not a probation, but a discipline. It is the initial step of a moral order whose progressive stages are to be endless. The principles of God's government are not suddenly changed at death or any other date. He is 'Our Father,' and 'the same yesterday, today and forever.'

Default Stamped With An Image

Ephesians 1:13 - In Him you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.

Observation

TO BE SEALED MEANS TO BE STAMPED WITH AN IMAGE. THAT MEANS, WHEN I WAS BORN AGAIN, I WAS STAMPED WITH THE LIKENESS OF THE ANOINTED ONE. I WAS MADE TO LOOK LIKE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST ON THE INSIDE.

Did you ever run for shelter in a storm, and find fruit which you expected not? Did you never go to God for safeguard, driven by outward storms, and there find unexpected fruit?

It rejoices us to know that our God can, and IS doing a work totally outside of man’s carnal concept. A work, which is utterly foreign to man, impossible to restrict or confine to denominational structure or system. He hath “hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Thy sight.” (Matt. 11:25-26). -Ray Prinzing-
