The question then is, "How does one know whether they are actually speaking directly with Jesus and the Apostles or perhaps communicating with the "Angel of Light" that Paul mentioned in his warnings ???

In view of what John said about testing out every claimed inspired expression or spirit, there should definitely be a heightened "RED Flag" - Among Bible Readers.

Bluefly,
A lot of people need "crutches" to get through life but the real awakening will be in the next world. If we acquire love through any means except for the bible, we are heretics. Jesus taught something that couldn't be explained because it was unheard of back then. So the writers put in their own ideas and called it God's word. But they always overlook the fact that "God is within us" so no need for dogma. They didn't want to lose their congregations and let people think for themselves.

How does one know the bible is the word of GOd? Just because people say it is, doesn't make it so. Just becaue people channel doesn't make theirs false. Love is the foundation you have to build on and if love is not found in channeling, then you know it's of no use. I find unconditional love in the channelings I read. It's not about hate, greed, whos better or anything like that. It's about the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.

A true christian, even by what Jesus taught, would never turn their backs on another soul. Jesus didn't turn His back on anyone, even if they didn't believe in what He taught. Unconditional love means accepting everyone for who they are on their spiritual journey.

You have hit the nail on the head, although I would say we can pray to Jesus but never the apostles. We do not channel with Jesus through mysterious means, but rather through holy prayer.

Joel 2:28 already reads, "I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh." But the entire Plan for our Salvation through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, so that we might one day be Holy and stand before Him in Love, had actually been ordained by God from before the beginning of the world even. Titus 1:2, "In hope of Eternal Life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began." And in II Thessalonians 2:13 we read in full, "But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the Truth." This is then almost literally reiterated in Ephesians 1:4, "According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and without blame before Him in Love." And in the same Ephesian text we can also read that the potentiality to receive the Divine Love into our souls is a very special favor of God, bestowed upon us through His Mercy and desire that we become, in truth, His children. A beautiful Gift, which becomes apparent in the Greek wording "He has chosen us" (exelexato hmas,) from "eklego", meaning: "to choose or select; to choose out as the recipients of a special favor or privilege".

When Jesus himself had received the great Gift (John 5:26, "For as the Father hath Life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have Life in himself,") and his Immortality and Divine nature became to him a conscious possession, he then knew that he had been lifted from death into Life, and thereupon proclaimed, "I am the Resurrection and the Life!" (John 11:25) And by this he meant, that as by Man's disobedience there had occurred the death of the possibility of his becoming at one with the Father and partaking of His Divine nature, so with his coming Man had again been placed in the condition of Life. Only in this way was Jesus the Resurrection and the Life.

So therefore, His death didn't have to happen in order for Him to carry out salvation.
We are the only, only, planet out of all the rebellious planets, that murdered a Son of God. The angels and all those in the Celestial heavens and those who are beside God wept because we destroyed this most glorious teacher our planet had ever known. I hope we don't do that to the one that's coming.

Discerning between interactions of any sort (be they metaphysical or physical) is easy to do. If the result generates and supports love and peace and unity, then it is positive.

If it does not, then it is negative and should not be supported.

The Deception of Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism and the Threat to Christianity

When you have people on this forum who practice or teach the above title, I believe our ideas/opinions/experiences should be welcomed so that you can discover just how we are going about our journey back to God. It doesn't matter how we get there, as long as we do. I think we can all learn from each other instead of saying one is right and one is wrong. Jesus walked in Love and I think anyone walking that path is a righteous person. May not be labeled "christian" but we walk with love. God isn't religious and neither should we be.
