Thinking about John 3 -- baptism....or John 6 -- the eucharist question....
Or possibly Ephesians 1 dealing with predestination...or Romans.
Anyone got any good suggestions? It just has to be a passage that I can dig into and investigate.
Why not start at the beginning of the Bible? Why would you want to take anyone's words on the subjects? Why not go straight to the "source" for yourself? Just asking.

I'm studying for my Master's in Pastoral Ministries. My assignment is to take a passage and study into it. I'm not sure what you're asking. I'm not necessarily looking to "take someone else's word for it" as much as I am looking for a passage to delve into deeper.

I'm sorry, I took it that you wanted someone's input rather the source. Apologize.
Anything in particular about Esther? It IS a good book...but i need a narrow topic.
I enjoy the entire book and it's a broad topic sooo....I don't know, Revelation? There's plenty of subtopics. 1. The Mark of the Beast 2. The Wrath of God 3. The Letters to the Seven churches 4. The Opening of the Seals 5. The Two Witnesses 6. The Millenium 7. Babylon Falls.......There is so much topics in that particular book to choose from.
I'm not certain how deep of a topic you would like to have, but I'm offering up the idea of Romans chapter 4. It's about Abraham being justified by faith.
Could you maybe come back when you're finished with your paper and tell us a bit about what you chose to study?
This is important for today's Church... The Holy Spirit's role in Hermeneutics.
