Unfortunately mere human understanding . . . especially after only simplistic reading . . . produces understanding that contradicts the clear example and understanding of Jesus and the true nature of our God. Of course if you think scripture is self-explanatory and the nature of the supreme God of the universe is discernible by simplistic reading and an uneducated understanding of the spiritual purpose and significance (NOT worldly, historical or carnal) of scripture . . . i guess you will be infallible enough to make these judgments of others.
