Saw a video on youtube, and need help (Penn & Teller)
Hey guys, just wanted to say that i am still a new believer, but today i was on youtube looking around and i noticed this video. It talks about how the Bible is all BS, and that it is fake etc.... and they try to prove how things did not actually happen. as a new believer, i am not sure how to react to this video, to some of the things they said. Can someone help me out?

it is not your task as a new believer to try to reason with them, but by your love call unbelievers to repentance to God. If they really want to prove God does not exist, there is enough proof of that that God does. Let them talk to the theologians! Truth is, there never will be anyone able to 'PROVE' that God exists, neither anyone will prove He does not exist. For God is not of this world but He is to be found in this world. Nature speaks of God's glory, and yet there are people willingly shutting their minds for right reasoning, only to try to find an alternate solution; so far as to believe in aliens, but still to reject God. God called us to believe by FAITH,not by sight! Faith comes by hearing the word of God. And only when you are willing to believe, you will see. Most people confess with their mouth they are 'willing' to believe, but in their hearts they are not, for it is as simple as confessing that they believe in Jesus,and that they will be willing to search for their answers from there on! Instead they want materialistic evidence of God, but how will you fit a God in whom the whole universe rests, inside this universe? Can an ant bring you down in the ants nest to show the queen (who never appears outside the nest) that humans do exist? And even if an antqueen would see the human,it's size is so vast that the queen will not be able to grasp how such a gigantic being,with fingernails larger than 10 ants together, can function, stay together, or even find / eat food! This kind of people will not believe except through prayer. Atheism is often a hateful, anti-God religion on itself, that in most cases exist out of people not willing to deepen themselves into the evidence that's there. A historian wrote one day in a newspaper, that there's enough evidence found that more than 80%of the books written in the bible are correct! Now if 80% has happened, and if the bible is to be seen true, if it's really a divine book, then it's either 100% true, or 0%. of the non proven material in the bible, nothing of all the discoveries so far contradict the bible. As soon as I stop writing you'll find that there might be atheists coming up with theories and ideas often without any backbone, to try to prove what I write is incorrect. Then people more knowledgeable then me come up with more proof and evidence that points out that (the majority of) what I wrote IS correct. And so the game goes on neverending. What you need is to feed your mind with learning to understand what Christianity is about. Learn who God is! and learn to love God! Learn to love your neighbors as yourself. Sometimes you won't get the answers, but if you don't immediately get them,then look at the fruit. What is christianity promoting? If the fruit is good, then there's a high high chance you're on the right track! Just keep yourself to the basics, and send someone with more difficult questions to someone you know who has more knowledge in the word of God. First learn the Bible yourself. only when you understand and know the majority of it, you'll be able to help others! God bless you!

Now about the atheists, scientists, evolutionists.....etc. Ignore them. Ignore their arguments. If you listen to them you are giving into the temptation of the devil. The Lord and Savior is a loving God, but if you don't worship Him... eternal Hell! So also remember to Fear Him as well while you are loving!
It is imperative that you ignore arguments that use logic and reason. They are just going to confuse you. They will confuse you because God is not of the material world. He is SUPERnatural and super too . Everything you need to know about this world is in the Bible. How do I know God is real? Because it says so in the Bible!

I just think you need help with knowing where to go and where not to go,
You cannot go to the world and expect any biblical counsel
Youtube is specific, if you know what you are looking for ie: a song and know the name of it, I wouldn't try to learn and grow in the knowledge of the things that are of the kingdom of God

Try Bayless Conley for good teaching that you will in these time that we are living in (as a believer) there is a huge list of ministers... Get one and stick to it for awhile
