Blessed Easter Day, NoahJD - could you tell me about the souls you have won? I like to here about converted souls; that is our mission.
God bless,

I can't say I have won any souls that I know about. I don't know of any people that I have stayed in contact with that have gone from unbelievers to born again Christians. I have one friend that started going to church. With street preaching you usually don't get feedback from it.

Is there a particular method/practice you follow? Way of the Master style? Or do you just stand on a box and scream that people need Jesus?
I'm gong to be in LA the week of 5/10-5/15. I'm considering doing some street preaching. I'll be attending a large conference and there will be a lot of people there.
At a minimum, I plan to distribute a few hundred gospel tracts and try to do some witnessing.

I don't have a set method. I am also not a Open Air veteran. I've seen Ray preach in Santa Monica and I've watched some of his stuff. I like his methods. I use his tracts and also use my own tracts. I like www.onemilliontracts.com tracts as well. If you are interested, there is a new video of Paul Washer open air preaching in Peru. here's the link:

Although I don't usually scream, loud shouting sometimes is what the Lord desires: sometimes His name needs to be hallowed in that place. I yelled "have you heard the gospel of Jesus Christ" in Ackerman Union of UCLA one time. The place went silent. God was hallowed. It was really hard for me to do but He was REALLY pushing me to do it. Afterward a Christian came up to me and said something like "wow that was from the Spirit". Besides hallowing God's name in public, its important to hallow Him within yourselves by putting Jesus between you and your non-Christian friends. I"ve had a friend say "if you continue to talk about religion I wont be your friend anymore". I've learned that preaching the gospel shows me what people I should not be associating with...who I might actually associate with if I didn't bring up the gospel.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
You may know someone a long time, but until you bring up the gospel you wont know how much of a God hater they are... it can be shocking.

I am now at these crossroads. I am separating myself more and more from the world and suspect I will be going through the pain of severing some relationships. Not because I desire this, but because I no longer live a certain lifestyle and they will not understand. I pray I will be a beacon of light that draws them nonetheless.

Excellent.
I'd love to catch Ray preaching. I am there from Sunday evening to Friday evening, and don't think I'll have much time to get out or I'd like to head out to the pier.
I'll check out the Paul Washer video....the link looks messed up.
** Edit***
Looks like quoting you made the link work better.
I'm on facebook, too. I'll check it out tonight when I get home. I can't get to it here at work.
