I don't understand the surprise..... Jews are actually quite passionate about their faith and songs..... I know this perhaps cause I've seen and experienced this 1st hand.....
There is a lot that normal christians don't understand or know about the jewish faith...... I can say that cause I was once one.... Its a very rich and G-d loving faith. Everyone should be a guest to a synagogue service to see for themselves....
although don't expect songs sung like the above..... that was more for the pop culture...... for lack of better words
and don't fret the jewish faith is nonconverting...... They discourage against it so no fear in just visiting to learn about the faith / people.
while I like the lyrics and what he sings about..... I never could get into reggae... just not for me.
Great song though huh? Different strokes for different folks. Being born and raised in the Virgin Islands, the reggae culture was a way of life, you know?
