A good friend of mine and well known to the "old-timers" of this forum started a thread similiar to what I propose here in another forum..

There is much discussion here and a lot of sharing about our beliefs and all things pretaining to our various christian doctines. We know each others beliefs pretty well..But, do we know each other? Do we even know when we debate if we are up against a man, woman, or a youngster (16-20 years old)

How about if we share just a couple of facts about ourselves, or your life if you want to How bout a picture?

I wish to extend this invite to the ones who mainly post in the sub forums too..All are welcome in this thread..

Okay Miss Blue....even though im a kinda personal type of gal....i am a wife, mother to 4 wonderful kids. And one little dog. We just moved which was a blessing for our family. It has brought us to a church family that we love, and my children are blossoming so much more in the Lord and all around. I love my friends on here, i love scrapbooking..and photography.

Middle aged Lutheran minister's son. Mom and Dad were (Dad still is) my finest examples of love, compassion, and walking with Jesus. Married with four children. Wife is Catholic. I converted to Catholicism not because I think the Pope and our local Archbishop has it right (most of the area priests I've talked to don't think this way either), but because I had been attending my wife's church for nine years and found it to be an incredibly compassionate and faith-filled community. It also helped that it is strongly liberal leaning.

I hear you little Elm, and I think a bunch of the posters are at work..

Sunshine, my daughter is making beautiful scrapbooks for her children..She first got interested when her dads mom died and he was taking it so hard. We wondered if he would ever get over it..She presented him with the scrapbook several weeks later, after spending many hours to finish it for him..He was so moved by the love and he began his journey to closure.. of his child that he realized that life must and should move on..
