Since this is a Bible sword drill, I'm guessing you're not looking for the names of Cain, Abel, and Seth (not to mention "other sons and daughters"). I'm also assuming the idea of Eve being the mother of all mankind is also not the answer you're seeking.

Jewish tradition (some cite Josephus as the source) states that Adam and Eve had 33 sons and 23 daughters. But . . .

Your hint talks about the number of grace (twice). Since the number of grace is five, the answer would be ten (5x2=10). I suppose it could be 55 since that number contains two fives. Fifty-five comes close to the traditional Jewish answer.

I'll admit you've got me stumped!

My best guess would be ten generations from Adam to Noah, but you'd have to include Adam in the count.

I looked in Genesis and could not find anything except that they had sons and daughters. I see what you mean about numbers and specific meanings, I'm curious about the hint tho!

The book written by Flavius Josephus will give you much insight into that era (historiclly accurate) . He paraphrases the entire old testament !!

You will find out some very startling information that most people read right past in the bible !!

You could be right.

Based on the Book of Adam and Eve, which was not included in the OT, they have 5 children: twins Cain and Luluwa, twins Abel and Aklia, and Seth.

Grace has 5 letters. Jesus has 5 letters - charis is the greek work for grace.. it also has 5 letters

Jesus has 5 names in Isaish 9:6

the old testament temple was built using stones that were 5x5

We are the new testament temple and God is chiipping away at US until we are 5x5

Paul gives us 5 Offices for the edification of the saints in Ephesians !!

there is much more in the bible than most people ever see. God is extremely clever in HIS BOOK he has hidden great treasures.. That is why proverbs chapter 2 says SEEK THE HIDDEN TREASURES !!
