Hello, msjamiedawn! To whom do you apply the words of 1 Thessalonians 4 and in what time frame do you place the "antichrist" of John's epistles?

I believe 1 Ths 4 is talking to all believers today, as I believe that Christ will return to gather His own.
I believe the time frame of the antichrists were in that day and today. Anyone who denies Christ is the antichrist.
To recap:
There will be NO 7-year tribulation. Daniel's 70th week has already passed. It lasted from 27AD when Christ was baptized through 3 1/2 years later at His crucifixion when HE confirmed the covenant & caused the sacrifice and oblations to cease up to 34AD when Stephen was stoned and the gospel went out to the Gentiles. At that point the 490 years allotted to the Israelites ceased - it was finished.

There will be a gathering of the Saints by Jesus at the end of the age (Matt. 24:29-31) At the same time the wicked will be gathered and thrown into the Lake of Fire after the Judgement. Then the earth will melt with fervent heat and be made brand new. And the righteous shall reign eternally w/ Jesus.

There was an age in which Jesus was then living and an age that in His day was ABOUT to come!
To the saints at Ephesus, Paul taught that the Father had raised Christ from the dead and "seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named not only is THIS age but also in that which is ABOUT to come" (Eph. 1:21). Again, there was an age in which Paul and the saints at Ephesus were then living and an age which was ABOUT to come!
The writer of Hebrews taught the impossibility of someone falling away once he has become a partaker of the Holy Spirit and "tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age ABOUT to come" (Heb. 6:5). There was an age in which they were then living and an age that was in that first-century time frame ABOUT to come!

No disrespect honestly but NONsense, first of to speak of Eph. 1:21 what age do you think Paul was talking about and why wouldn't the events spoken of by John, Ezk, Dan,Joel,Gen,Paul,Mathew,Luke,Habb,and so one been apart of time before another age to come as. There are events that one would have to explain in order to astablish the current age if I could through in 20"When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. when did one start or both start or has one ended the eion thing and age thing can be a real stumbling block bummer.

There won't be 2 billion "professing" Christians to be beheaded.
Why? Because the Rapture will take maybe 2 million REAL Christians out of the way.
The ones left behind will most likely deny Christ, so chipping them, tatooing, or whatever the mark turns out to be won't be a problem.
Denial is such an unattractive yet obvious trait.
