huh? Sorry, I don't understand the point you are making.
I personally don't think that God was with ANY nation after the Isrealites. To think that God was ever "with" America would seem, to me, a little egocentric. Especially when Jesus clearly paved the way for a nonpolitical/nonsecular gov't (not of this earth, that is ) Christian congregation.

I am not an American and anyone could clearly see America has had blessings upon blessings. There is no way without Christianity there would be a nation such as the U.S. Show me a nation like the U.S. that was not built on Christian principles.

Many people are not grasping this concept. Let's break it down. Schoools take prayer out of schools, won't allow any Christianity whatsoever, teach evolution, is it a coincidence violent crime in schools has skyrocketed?
The violence in the schools is a judgment from God.

True, in the U.S. (compared to other places) life is more...I can't think of a good word...luxurious. I certainly don't live a luxurious lifestyle, but I know that I have indoor plumbing, and my hallway may be bigger than a family of 10's house somewhere else. It doesn't necessarily mean that these are blessings from God. Former world powers had "blessings" as well, but I wouldn't consider them blessings from God who backed them.
I think that the U.S. is just as responsible/bloodguilty for messes in our world as other "non-christian" nations. I don't think God condones much of what human governments do. There is so much dishonesty, greed, propaganda...etc.
However, I think that if the Christian principles helped the U.S., then it is just a testiment to the validity of the Christian principles. God gave us the bible for our benefit...as our creator He knows how humans SHOULD live. So if some of these principles were put into practice and garnered good results, then it just means that listening to God is a good thing .

So abortion is the only issue that matters? As long as our leaders claim to be pro-life they can lie, cheat ect. and lead this country down the toilet as the Repubs did for 8 years, and it's all okay?
And I've yet to see proof of socialism from Obama. Just a bunch of hot air from conservatives who don't have any ideas and want to divert the attention from the mess they've made by making fantastical claims.

That was speaking of the Israelite nations. Do you think it applies to our nation? I don't.
