PIRATES OF THE SOUL

Teachers sent from God are like a light house that sends a true signal. The beams of light from its burning lamps are able to pierce through great darkness and guide Christians to the New Jerusalem. Here is the message of the lighthouse:

"If you would enter life, keep the commandments." Matthew 19:17

All of us need to guard against the deception of lawlessness. Even Timothy needed to hear this warning from Paul:

"This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; HOLDING FAITH, AND A GOOD CONSCIENCE; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: "
1 Tim 1:18-19 (KJV)

God charted a safe course for our lives when He gave The Ten Commandments --but we must watch out for deception from the pirates of the soul ...

In bygone days, pirates would build fires on a rocky coastline to trick unwary seamen so they would go off-course. Those lawless plunderers didn't care about the souls that were destroyed in the shipwreck -- they wanted to pillage their possessions.

In Modern Christianity, spiritual pirates with signs and wonders are using "revival fires" as they proclaim their message of "pseudo-love" without obedience. Those angels of light are making merchandise of the souls of men as they destroy the faith and good conscience of gullible believers.

Donna Kupp

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." 2 Cor 11:13-15 (KJV)
