Post News, Consultation over ’The Persecution of Christians in the United Kingdom’ held in the British House of Commons.

A consultation entitled “The Persecution of Christians in the United Kingdom” was held in the Attlee room of the House of Commons on June 3, 2009. It was hosted by Dominic Grieve QC, Conservative Member of Parliament for Beaconsfield, along with Baroness Caroline Cox, a former speaker of the House of Lords.

Dan Wooding with Baroness Cox during a radio interview in Southern California
Speaking to the participants Baroness Cox said that Christian students in Britain had a spiritual vacuum.” They do not know the names of the gospels and the disciples of Jesus,” she regretted.

So British Christian students are persecuted because they are too lazy to pickup the bible?

Britain is under a great cloud of darkness , but i do believe there is a mighty wave of His love to break over that land, it's on its way.

Out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.

By the way i'm a Brit

Why do you say under a cloud of darkness (asking since you are a Brit)?

Poor limey Christians ... PCAMPS you limey sod whats going on with your countrymen? I cant name ALL the disciples either off hand ... I used to be able to do all that memory stuff when i was a kid in Sunday school, but lets face it what did most of the disciples do that warranted their names being remembered? Of course when i go back over the scripture i have no trouble finding them, but lets get real as far as the bible is concerned many of the 12 disciples are just extras in the story of Christ. Now not being able to name the 4 gospels... that is sad.

If you want proof there are none that seeketh after God just take a trip over the pond , then take the channel tunnel to mainland Europe . Your conclusion of your trip will be Ichabod.

Don't get me wrong there is light there but also much darkness.

But like i said i believe there is coming a mighty wave of His love that will turn that nation back to God

Ex Pat living here in the States

As far as the article is concerned, its not to different in America. Its a hate Crime to speak about someones lifestyle as sin. They might not enforce it(hate crimes law) all the time, but its there. What about no prayer in school? They can teach that homosexuality is natural and acceptable in sex ed, but don't dare mention that Christianity among other religions condemns it as sin. Sooner or later theyll be cutting peoples heads off for not worshiping the beast, its just a matter of time. What we see happening in the world is inevitable, and in the end it will work out for the best ... God is in control.

Yes i agree though the whole thing looks a mess God is still in control

This is why it makes no sense to point the finger at America , with such petty accusations as it being Babylon .
America may have it's bad points but if anyone wants to be foolish enough to compare nation against nation America blows most nations out of the water.
