So it seems to me that you are now agreeing with universalists? I don't get what you are trying to say at all. And by the quote above, you seem to be saying that Jehovah Witnesses have it right.
There is no room for wishy-washiness.....stick to what the Word of God says and don't allow yourself to be drawn in to these lies of Satan. You do realize that we are living in the last days, right? Now's not the time for doubt or giving in to other's false teachings because it "sounds good". Are your ears itching?
I think you should listen to the friend who sent you the e-mail.

Sorry please try to read it but how am I not basing it off of scripture? I believe in a limited atonement, that is not universalism.

"Faithful is this saying and deserving of universal acceptance: and here is the motive of our toiling and wrestling, because we have our hopes fixed on the ever-living God, who is the Saviour of all mankind, and especially of believers [of those who believe). Command this and teach this."

Birdy. Do you believe man can come to God on his own?

basically this is what biblical universalism teaches, that finally all men will believe in Christ and therefore be saved:
1Co. 12:3 (KJV)
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Phil. 2:10.11
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Yes I am a Calvinist. grew up as a Pentecostal. I don't believe Jesus came to save every human being, scripture does not support it.

Calvin was a murderer, I hope know you this.
He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
Proverbs 17:15
isn't murder wicked? when you follow Calvin you justify the wicked.
