Matthew ch. 18vs7-8
Woe to the world for temptations to sin for it is necessary that temptations come and if your hand or your foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it from you, it is better for you to enter life maimed or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire.
In the light of this scripture do some people have a light view of sin?

No but i believe Jesus died for sin and He is not reckoning mans sin against him

2 Cor 5

19how that God was in Christ -- a world reconciling to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses; and having put in us the word of the reconciliation,

I expect most people accept sin as a part of life - so that they do not realize they are sinning.

Most eternal hell believers must view it lightly since I don't know any who are cutting off hands or feet.

Yes that is the human way of understanding it, however if all the world were reconciled by Christ's death then murders would have ceased would they not? men attend church [not those who have been reconciled] and go out and commit murder as John says "we know that anyone who hates his brother does not have eternal life dwelling in him." You hav to read scripture with spiritual eyes.

Spiritual eyes what the dickens are they ?

I read the word through the anointing that abides in me!!!!!!!!.2 Cor 5 19 says what it says , who mentioned eternal life , i said that God according to 2 Cor 5 verse 19 is not reckoning mans sin against Him . You cannot make it say anything else but that.

More to the point Paul says this is the message we as God's ambassadors should take to the lost.

20in behalf of Christ, then, we are ambassadors, as if God were calling through us, we beseech, in behalf of Christ, `Be ye reconciled to God

He obviously means sin unto death, so it has always been understood. but there are people who are so enamoured by sin that they will not come to the cross for pardon and cleansing. Also the Pharisees were so stuckfast in their interpretations that they rejected Christ's clear teachings.

Think about the worst feeling you guys have ever had, or perhaps, the worst physical pain (for those who believe in a literal fire in Hell). Now imagine being stuck in that pain, that awful feeling, for all eternity, without end, WITHOUT END. Imagine being separated from all joy, from all happiness, from all hope, as you scream and pull your hair out, unable to get away from the ceaseless pain... FOREVER. You just wish you could commit suicide to end the pain, but alas, even that is out of your reach. Unfortunately though, you cannot get out of this hellhole and will be forever damned by the Father that claimed he loved you, that put you into existence without your permission and then condemned you for choices he knew you would make before he even created you. His anger will not be ceased. His revenge will never been quenched.

Oh well, you deserve it, for all those sins you committed; like yelling at your brother, or stealing that money from the bank, or even that cookie when you were just 8 years old. God must be appeased, and the only way is: ETERNAL TORMENT FOREVER!!!

PS: For those who do not see the twisted, sick perversion behind this idea, may your eyes be opened; for you ignore your very conscious, the very conscious God gave you, and make God not Love, but a demented, sick monstrosity, that is, a being truly worthy of Hell, if there was such a place. That my friends, is NOT Love, and it NEVER WILL BE. Too bad God gave us a conscious so that if we actually trusted in it, and believed he might be a little bit more kind, and not throw people in Hell for eternity to suffer unimaginable pain, he'll throw us in Hell for it.

Yes but dear chap you can't just use snippets of scripture, Paul goes on to say in this passage "we beseech you on behalf of Christ be reconciled to God." and I have shown you that all were not reconciled, see it is only those who are reconciled that He reckoned not their trespasses. If somebody reading this decided to be reconciled with God, He would not reckon their trespasses, how could He since they are reconciled? but if someone reading this is filled with hate and commits murder then they are not reconciled to God, or do you think they are?
