What does this have to do with the atonement. Are you saying, that you never sin?

Fundy i had you down as knowing the word much better than this.

That which is born of God cannot sin, that which is born of the flesh(my old man) will sin at the drop of a hat because that is all it knows to do.

Who in the verse is God angry at? who are the wicked?
Hi, were you ever wicked, Fundy? The same Jesus who died for you, died for all of the wicked that God is "angry" with. Jesus the lamb slain from the foundation of the world for the world died for the world, yes the world. He is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. (1 Timothy 4:10) The same God who was "angry" with me is my Savior. The old man is to be destroyed. God bless.

I don't know what to say because that verse in its proper context had nothing to do what we we talking about- that is dealing with false converts, false apostles & apostate.
I thought you were making a parallel of some sort? I asked who are the wicked? who are the righteous and the unrighteous?

And i told you it is you and i

Our flesh(old man) as never changed from the day we believed it was wicked before we believed and still is to this day .What is so difficult in understanding this Fundy . Are you not aware of the old man (carnal minded man) and the new man (spiritual minded man).

Why does this feel like a Nicodemus scenario to me .

We were crucified with him then buried with Him , but unfortunately we do not see this and believe it , so we still think carnally .

So what happens when you think carnally ? As a man thinks in his heart so is he.

Eventually all will come to the Father through Christ but not in this age, the next age (millennium) nor the next (new earth) but at the consummation of the ages.
