The Non Elect are destined for Hell
Matt 25:

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Jesus here is describing here the men of perdtion phil 1:

28And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

the word perdition is:

apōleia:

destroying, utter destruction

a) of vessels
2) a perishing, ruin, destruction
a) of money
b) the destruction which consists of eternal misery in hell

Those going to perdition are the equivalent to what paul terms vessels of wrath rom 9:

20Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsufferingthe vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: fitted for destruction or perdition..

It was God who fitted them for perdtion or destruction..The word here for fitted in the greek is
katartizō which means:

to render, i.e. to fit, sound, complete
a) to mend (what has been broken or rent), to repair
1) to complete
b) to fit out, equip, put in order, arrange, adjust
1) to fit or frame for one's self, prepare
c) ethically: to strengthen, perfect, complete, make one what he ought to be

The word in the context of romans 9 22 is used as a perfect passive particple..meaning they were fitted by someone else for destruction..This would be God who created or made them as the Potter, and it was to make His power known..

These vessels are the non elect of mankind, to whom Jesus is speaking in our text matt 25:41

What Jesus is saying to them and about them is this..That these men or people are in the same like condition as the fallen angels that sinned, hence without hope of redemption..2 pet 2:

4For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Now, this same sentiment is of God towards the ungodly non elect observe:

9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

see the similarity of wording, being reserved for the day of Judgment, one being the angels that sinned, the other being the ungodly men and women ??

Look at jude:

6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

So the non elect, the non sheep of mankind, for Jesus clearly intimates all are not of his sheep jn 10:

26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

This would mean they are the goats on the left hand, and it is these who share the same destiny as the angels who sinned..which is eternal misery.

Dont forget, that God created them vessels of wrath and perdition, so this was their destiny before the world began..This was Gods determination and purpose for their creation..to make His power known and to contrast them with the election of grace...

If you are a non believer, please know that Jesus was sent to be the Savior of the world. This means He loves all mankind. He will have all to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth and this includes you. He did not intentionally create anyone for everlasting hell. God is not a sadistic monster.

1 John 4: 14We have seen and (A)testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world

God bless.

I know that you don't, beloved, but I believe what is presented in the word of God. Evidently you believe that God is a sadistic monster.

@ beloved57 you might want to read Matthew 25:46 in the Greek and

check the word kolasiV kolasis there on your own; the primary meaning given, theological dictionaries are often biased:

Search Tools

you might also want to check the meanings of aiwn [aiwn] and aiwnioV [aiwnios] given there.
