"The crux of the message was how we speak things into being , through the things we say."

Back to the OP. There is a huge difference between following the "prosperity message" and the possibility that the Holy Spirit might be leading in this instance. He might be wanting to increase the believer's faith or clean up the thought life or spoken words. The key is what is Holy Spirit saying.

You want a solid church? Here you go:

TMS - Alumni - By State

See if there is one in your area pastored by a graduate listed on the map at the link above.

The last local church you would find me in is a local church with a graduated pastor.

That's fine. If you don't want to actually learn about Christianity, then keep playing church somewhere else.

its ok to listen to these people as I enjoy Copeland, and Duplantis
Oh I watch them too on occasion, purely for entertainment value. I mean you can't pay to find this kind of diversion. There's a great video on Youtube where Copeland and another joker are having a conversation in tongues. In fact, here it is:

YouTube - Dueling Tongues (From The Blind and The Dead video)

Other minister: oh, dobo e dealesta pasta lia do?
Copeland: whoo, po po po shushu di payday shi shi a payday.

Rough translation:
Other minister: Can you believe these clowns are buying all this nonsense of us talking to each other in tongues? Buys a lot of pasta for me.
Copeland: Whoo, makes for a good payday, though, doesn't it? A really good payday!

Listen carefully to the first few "sentences" The one guy says "pasta" two times, and from the looks of him he swims in the stuff for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Copeland, on the other hand, is more interested in his payday, as he says the word twice in the first 5 seconds. (too bad they don't have a smilie for busting a gut laughing)

lmao

To my shame i have said and done some dumb things in my past as well , while being a believer, like threatening the lost with eternal torture if they don't believe in Jesus.

While we're on the topic of false teachers--For your viewing pleasure:

YouTube - Benny Hinn: Yakety Sax

One guy comments: "I wish I had Benny Hinn's power. No more standing in lines." I couldn't stop laughing!
