20So he got up and went to his father.
"But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

Your heavenly Father is filled with compassion for you , there is no need to fear the Father's wrath.

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces
but he will heal us;
he has injured us
but he will bind up our wounds.

2 After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence. 3 Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth."

Yes we are torn to pieces , just like the prodigal son when we squander the life God as given us we are left in ruins .

We cannot help but reap what we sow .

But praise to His wonderful name in returning He heals and binds up the wounds .

You must be a child of God first, not a child of the devil..The prodigal Son represents a child of God, not a child of satan..
