I am not religious. I believe what God said and He said "no one will have an excuse whatsoever for not knowing God".
Thankfully God will be judging not you or I. And like I told legoman, He will judge everyone fairly.

Some of the most caring people in the world aren't Christians.

"I am a Japanese national and my country is atheistic and materialistic. Most of our population have very little understanding of Jesus. After World War II, Japan was in great need. There were many children without parents. Fortunately some very caring people arose to start homes for these children. One woman I knew of was very selfless, giving and loving. She spent her whole life caring for these children. Many people didn't respect her for doing this but because of the love in her heart, she continued helping. I don't believe she was a Christian. Here's my question. There are many Christians who don't ever spend their life as she did. If one looked at their deeds, this woman would look like the Christian. They simply had an opportunity to hear the
message of Christ and she didn't. How will God judge her?
By the Light that she was born with, and how she responded to that Light in her life, lived in her body, while she had her being intact.

When one responds to the Light that lights every man that comes into the world in the hopes that they may seek God, they do find Him, for that Light is Christ; and that Light leads to the knowledge of Christ come in flesh as God our Redeemer/Kinsman.

The secrets of all hearts will be judged on that day by Jesus Christ, Himself, who is the Light that lights every man/human being that comes into the world.
The Creator in whose image we human beings are created did not wait thousands of years to reveal a religion which would get them to heaven, but gave the promise of the Redeemer/Kinsman from the beginning, to the head of our race -whose seed we are- at the time of the fall, and that Redeemer is come and He is Christ come in flesh and He seeks all men to come to Him, drawing them by His Light from the time they come to an age of understanding of right and wrong.

You can trace the Gospel story in ancient history in many civilizations, and down through history and its corruption in all nations; for they all once knew, and corrupted the image of God and the doctrine of God which all men had been given, by all the prophets from the beginning of the world. There were prophets from the beginning, and you can find the story of the Son of Man as God the Son who was to come and ransom the lost creation, in many ancient records.
The namesake people of the Name of the Mighty God, "Israel", who was to come and is come as second creation human being [Adam is the first creation human being], were formed to be the people who would be given all the oracles of His coming in human flesh, to rehearse until they were all fulfilled, and they were given His own New Man name [Isaiah 49 says that name is Israel; Hosea 12:3-5 says YHWH was He who wrestled with Jacob; and Jacob said, when the name was invoked over him, that he had seen "God face to face", and made a memorial altar to His name and called it "God, the Mighty God, Israel"], and all the oracles of His once for all redemption for all human beings of all nations, by His blood Atonement, which Atonement the high priest of the namesake people of the New Man name rehearsed once, yearly, as the oracle of His Person and work.

He is come. He is Christ. He is come to redeem all the souls of human beings lost in Adam and adopt them into His New Creation Man name.

Today, His Light is calling all souls to seek Him, and whoever seeks, finds, and they find the Savior, in whose image they were created and in whose name they will be redeemed for ever, by faith in His name and work for their redemption.

Quote:
Act 17:26 "And He has made from one bloodevery nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
Act 17:27 "so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;

Jhn 1:9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
Jhn 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
Jhn 1:11 He came to His own,and His own did not receive Him.
Jhn 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
Jhn 1:13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Jhn 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
Rom 1:21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
Rom 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

The ancient Chinese had the Gospel of Christ, and it is evident in the characters used for the ancient Oracle Bone writing. They worshiped the One true God as Shang-Di, whose Son was the Lamb who was to come and make us righteous, under Him.

All nations had the Gospel who descended from Enoch, through Noah, for Enoch first gave the revelation of the Gospel in its entirety, in parables. Even the ancient Egyptians knew, for they worshiped Him as the "Amen", the hidden God in heaven, much as Enoch also revealed Him, and they corrupted his image.
In Revelation 3, Jesus says that He is indeed the [true]Amen, whose image the Egyptians changed into a corruptible image, as Paul said in Romans 1.

The ancient Border Sacrifice of Chinese emperors for thousands of years also is connected to the same sacrifices offered from outside the Garden of Eden from the beginning, and the ancient Japanese priests also had an understanding of that sacrifice which was anticipating the Day of Atonement, from the time of the fall of Adam, which would be fulfilled in the appointed season when God would come in flesh as atone for our race as Kinsman to us.

The fact is that we humans are dead, former sons of God, who, in the Adam flesh and Adam spirit which we each had a share of, as fruit of the head of the race, can never bear the Glory of the Creator indwelling us in this defiled flesh; because, being clay vessels, we are irrevocably defiled from bearing the Glory we lost at the fall, when we/our head had to cover the shame of the loss of our purpose and subsequent vanity of being, with clothes.
For the reason of irrevocable defilement, we must be born again in body's made for the Glory, with regeneration into the second Man's One Living Spirit [Christ], and that can only come by the cleansing of our souls by the once for all Atonement of the Lamb of God who was "slain from the foundation of the world", and who was to come from the beginning to redeem us, and who is come, and who is calling all to come to Him for free Salvation in this day.

It doesn't matter how 'good' by human measure we or anyone else born in Adam is, there is no possibility of earning our way to heaven by any works of our own, for no works are accepted by the Holy Glory, which is offered in unclean vessels, which vessels pollute the offerings. Haggai 2 teaches us about that fact. In Adam we are dead and in Adam we died, and in Adam we will die with no possibility of being anything other than an undying worm cast away forever into the lake of fire, where all the rejects of the creation spend eternity. We must be born again, from above, into the One Living Spirit of the New Man, and that is called the adoption and is possible because of the blood of Atonement which made an end of the remembrance of the sin before the Glory which defiled Adam and cursed us to being ruined temples, in Adam, forever.

He created us to be human being temples for His dwelling, a dwelling not made with hands; and in our Adam nature/being, there is no possibility of coming back to that state of being sons of God, for that Glory to indwell which departed the creation at the fall and will return at the regeneration of all things.

Only by accepting the ransom paid for us, by the Lamb of God who came to ransom us and our lost world/creation back, for Himself to indwell, in His Glory, can we be cleansed from our defilement in Adam and be sons of God by adoption into the Living Spirit, and then we will receive the adoption bodies for our redeemed souls to wear, at the resurrection of the body, and be vessels fit for the Glory to indwell, then, which we lost, in the fall of our father Adam.

His Light seeks all of us, to bring us to seek Him, and He who seeks, finds, and He is then their Everlasting Father of the second creation Man, who will never leave them or forsake them and who ever lives to make intercession for us before the Glory on high.

God [and God who is the Son is the judge of all things in heaven and in earth], doesn't judge by actions, He judges by the heart, and what one did -how they responded over their life lived in their body of flesh- with the Light, Christ, who lights every man that comes into the world.
If they seek the Light, they find Christ. No man can earn their way to heaven by religion, but all men will be judged for all deeds done in the body, while they had their being. If they repented of evil then all their evil deeds are blotted out.
Only deeds done in the name of the New Man will come before His glory to receive rewards for heaven, and even those get tried by fire, for motives.
There are differences of degrees of rewards for Glory and of rewards for eternal lake of fire for those assigned there.
No one is judged for Adam's transgression because Jesus bore that for us, but all are judged for their own deeds done in their own body while they had their being intact.
The worst and lowest position in the lake of fire is reserved for those who committed willful sin against the Light, usually reserved for wicked angels and for religious leaders who lead men astray.

Romans 2:12-16 - 12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

She will be judged by her "works of the law (written in her heart) according to her God-given conscience." So if she worked with and not against her conscience she has nothing to worry about in the day of judgment.

If a Universalist said anything remotely close to this statement there would be calls of heresy and what was the point of Jesus dying

How can God judge a man by their God given conscience ?. If you read Romans chapter 7 it's made perfectly clear the the things you should be doing you can't, and the things you shouldn't be doing you find yourself doing. In otherwords the Adamic nature is not capable of pleasing God in any shape or form, no flesh shall be justified before God
Jesus makes all the difference in this life and in the life to come . He's the Savior of ALL men and will draw all men to salvation and will cause all men to bow the knee and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Conviction of right and wrong is given by the Light that lights every man that comes into the world. The power to become sons of God is given by Jesus Christ, who is the Light that lights every man that comes into the world, in the hopes that they may seek the Light while they have the Light, before the darkness overtakes them and the Light is taken away forever and forever, for those cast into the Lake of Fire; where they are undying worms with no hope for remedy, and suffer the blackness of darkness forever; separated eternally from the Light which lights every man that comes into the world, and which Light seeks all men to come and be made new, in Christ.
Today is the Day of Salvation, when the Light is drawing all men to Jesus Christ, so as to be saved from their own fallen state of being in Adam, and be made adopted sons of God in the New Man name and nature.

To know what is right does not mean one has the power to do what is right. In Adam, we are hopelessly dead in spirit, as sons of God, and we must be born anew, into the One Living Spirit, to have eternal Life and the power to walk ion the Spirit of the New Man, and not be bound to do the deeds of our old man nature.
