It isn't that the baby has COMMITTED sin through their own actions. They carry the sin of Adam as soon as they are born as members of Adam's body.

Romans 5:12Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because [eph' ho, "on which"] all sinned- (literally, from my understanding)
We sin because we are born mortal, into a death state.
God bless.

No sin is the transgression of the law. Babies have not trangressed that law but Adam did and as members of Adam's body they are trangressors. Just as only One man has life (Jesus Christ), we have life as members of His body.
Remember Jesus is the second Adam. If babies born of Adam didn't have sin when they were born then Jesus would have no need to be born of a virgin.
Paul

After reading the tripe and hate I have seen scanning this thread, how do you people justify your beliefs. Absolutely disgusting, filled with hate and vengeance, all in the name of your loving god.
Lord save me from your followers No, just save the babies

I agree with this in that we were called, designated as sinners because of Adam's sin. We "became" sinners although we had not committed any sin. This is because of death and it is because of death that we are mortal and become sinners. Jesus was born into this death state and died, but He never sinned. He was the only begotten Son of God and was in the bosom of the Father, the Word of God made flesh. God bless.

Death is condemnation.
Babies experience death
Babies experience condemnation.
What is the source of death - sin.
What is the source of death for a baby - sin.

But see the problem with this statement is.........a baby hasn't sinned! They are born with the sin nature, but like it was said in another post, they haven't exercised the ability of reasoning and to make the choice of acting upon either good or evil to commit sin in their lives.

We "became" sinners simply by being born. The moment we existed we have sin.

But they have sinned as members of the body of Adam. They carry that sin even though they haven't ACTUALLY sinned they are attached to the body of Adam and thus since Adam sinned then they sinned.

Silliest thing I've ever heard...Death can be caused by any number of things. Illness, accidents, homicides, suicides, wars etc.
